What beer are you drinking now? #1565

I think I'll have one of those as well...

 

A beer and a foam rolling session are in order after a four mile run. My peculiar training habits! Halfway through the week and a month closer to spring. I'll drink to that!

 

I may have to declare this as my personal DDH day! Starting with this one, haven't had it in a loooong time. 12/22/16, s'aight yet but can tell it's JUST starting to turn...

I'm sorry to say but that is some disappointing food ****.

 

$3.50 deli special from Jewel-Osco! Works for me all the time.
It's actually pretty tasty.

 

Washing down lunch with an Alpha King (I always neglect this beer) and, since I'm at the Indiana/Kentucky border, a pour of E.H. Taylor small batch. They are both delicious.



I'm just southeast of where The Cougar is from so here goes.

 

Narragansett- the unnamable black Lager

Very nice. Strong for style at 7.5% ABV. Toasty. Subtle hops but noticeably there. Super clean finish. Very nice.

More brewers should pump out a schwartzbier but if they did maybe it'll take away how special it is when I come across them. Cheers.

 

He lives in Hollywood now, right?

 

Actually, Bloomington, I believe. They always show him at the IU games.

 

But spends the weekends in Hollywood (dripping with sarcasm)

 

Tremendous brewery. Best in South Jersey. My store has a dedicated tap just for them.

 

That's is a giant glass for a giant beer. Holy shit lol. More like HI-BAC haha.
