Super Juicy is far and away the best fruited IPA I've had. The only thing that was anywhere in the ballpark was Mango Wet When Slippery from the fall.

That makes sense I remember drinking it during the Final Four

Yeah I just checked Untappd and I checked into it on 3/19.

Two years ago it was on at the Saloon the day of the release. That was the first time I had it and fell in love. Last year was definitely after the regular JuJu release.

Agree with everything you just said. Super Juicy is just on another level from any other hoppy beer I've ever had.

There are a lot of fruit addition IPAS out there, but very few have an incredible base beer like Juju. That's the difference. I also love Juiced Head Hunter, but some iterations have been better than others.

Add a little cloudiness to Juicy Juju and it would be too good for human consumption.

Sad, but so true. The turbid fanboys would be like a hyperactive group of monkeys flinging their own shit in mass chaos to get their hands on it.

Looks like photos on Untappd show at least 80-90% if not complete opacity, where regular Juju is totally transparent, barring chill haze (or...frosted mugs, smdh). Not totally unexpected since instead of trying to look like OJ like some haze bombs, it is simply using actual OJ/oranges.

The beer geek anticipation for this release has always been very high, at least since I've be aware of it. I've just never been able to make it up there when it was released in the past. I'd bet the only thing preventing the scene described above is the lack of packaging. How crazy does it get up there for draft only?

If Fat Head's bottled a limited amount of Juicy Juju, it would get pretty crazy. Hopefully they don't do that. When there is a good, limited beer on draft, it goes quick, but I wouldn't define it as crazy.

I'm hoping for one day to land a fresh batch. I always get the bottom of the old and hard ones from the bottom of the bowl. Still love their sandwiches over their burgers so I'll keep trying.

In restaurant news...it looks as if the (former) Columbus Brewing Co. Restaurant has re-branded as CBC Restaurant.

The website columbusbrewingco.com now redirects to http://www.dinecbccolumbus.com/

Should alleviate some of the confusion about the (lack of) affiliation between restaurant and the brewery.

It doesn't make Juju better. Original juju is still superior and a pretty much perfect DIPA. That being said, super juicy is the best attempt at a fruited ipa I have tried.

2015 super juicy was awesome. 2016 was really good but not quite as impressive.

lol I'm sure using the often used acronym for the brewery will alleviate all confusion.

It's the hazy juju conversation real? I'm not sure if I should contribute jokes or start a fight.

I do support distributing super juicy, what an awesome beer. I also had this on tap at the saloon in march last year.

Jungle juiced head hunter had too much rind flavor for me last year, but still good.

Crap...it's too early. I'm visiting Ohio at the end of the month. My guess is there won't be any hanging around 3 weeks later.

Sure it will. I still saw it on the shelves two months later at certain shops last year...

I always forget does it expire before they dry hop it or before they add the yeast?
