    Just posted to founders cadre

As with all the Barrel-Aged Series beers, Doom will be available in 750mL bottles and 4-packs of 12oz bottles. Look for it beginning in May, with most states receiving theirs by early June.

I'm excited for a good barrel aged ipa

Doom seems appropriate... if the beer is about as good as their other new offerings like Lizard of Koz and Frootwood.

Was a shelfie here in Cincinnati.

I'm starting to notice a trend with these Founders special releases. Project Pam was meh (almost cracked open another bottle last night though), Lizard of Koz was no good, Frootwood is pretty mediocre. Then you start getting to the others like Mango Magnifico (dumper fire) and you've got KBS and CBS which are excellent.

Weird how much variation they have.

So far these BA series beers are pretty lackluster...can we just fast forward for CBS to be the final reveal?

I am pretty pumped for this one. Was able to snag 4 bottles lasf time. It just got better with age, in my opinion.

I'll also put in a vote for BA Redankulous. I liked the original, but was blown away by how good that beer was with some barrel aging. I'd buy as much of that as possible.

Am I the only one that interprets a 10% ABV Imperial IPA designed for barrels as essentially and American barley wine?

I thought Project Pam absolutely phenomenal. I passed on Koz and Frootwood.

To each their own, but Barrel Aging an IPA just doesn't sound right. Not a fan of these.
