Super Bowl beers

    Huge beer Sunday, I kept it simple, really nothing all that hoppy. I bought a 12 pk of Red Oak Munich Helles, and a 6 of Prima Pils in the can. Also making use of my Xmas present a pair of handmade pewter Mint Julep glasses and the good stuf that goes inside. Hot ass chili, and stuffed mushrooms plus simple snacks.

    I'll be at the Pliny the Younger release tomorrow. Plan on coming home with a growler of PtE and a growler of their new Citra hopped IPA, Jake Brake to have for the Super Bowl. Those growlers, along with my last bottle of 2016 Bourbon County Brand Stout should take care of the day. Yes, I'll be sharing....

    I have a hefty three beer IPA line up saved for NBS that morning/mid-day. I'll stick to Torn Label's Gustucide during the game. Maybe a Hopslam or two if I finish the Torn Label and feel like it.

    The first time I had Yards Brawler was on a Super Bowl Sunday--I mean, Big Game Sunday--so that has become my Super Bowl beer. Always great when you're looking to go more than a few rounds, as they say.

    I've got a crowler of Great Notion Guava and Double Stacks of Coconut sitting in my fridge...I hope that'll be enough to satisfy me.

    Just picked up 750ml swingtops of "Fabulous Freak" & "Pleased to Meet Me" from Foam, and I don't plan on sharing :slight_smile:

    Funny you mention Prima Pils - just picked up a sixer myself! Will probably pound a few of those and possibly close out with something dark and heavy. Cheers!

    Keeping it simple, 6er of hop stoopid for 1st half. Bomber of lagunitas cappuccino stout for 2nd half. Plus wings, chips,dips,stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed jalapenos! Just wish I cared for either team. Cowboys next year!

    Just tossed a bomber of Boulevard Imperial Stout X: Aztec Chocolate in the fridge for the superbowl. Will likely have some other craft as well - I keep an assortment in fridge and spontaneously decide what I feel like.
