Anyone have the new version of Hair Raiser yet? Just wondering what people thought... particularly useful would be if you had the old version (w/ Pekko hop) and the new version (w/o Pekko... not sure what they're using in lieu of it). Thanks!

I could be wrong but I don't think the new batch has been released yet- it is not showing as available on their website and they responded to someone on twitter saying it would be available late this week.

Has anyone tried Demo Tape 10, the red ale? I picked up a four pack, I think someone said it was good. There was about 9 solid ratings...good enough!

EDIT: Yup, I knew a couple people dug it.

Thought that Demo Tape was great. Should have bought more than a 4 pack since it was sold out when I went back to the store by me.

You're right. They just tweeted that the new Hair Raiser drops today at 3pm. Also, an imperial stout called Sunday Paper that is brewed with Barrington Coffee... well, they're getting some of my money this weekend.

Edit: Sunday Paper drops tomorrow at 12pm.

The rye and Simcoe compliment each other well. I'm typically not a Simcoe fan and I really enjoyed it. One of the better and more unique beers they've released so far.

I wonder if "Sunday Paper" will be a similar recipe to the "Business" coffee stout Matthew used to brew at High Horse. Fingers crossed: that one was excellent.

It would be nice to see them expand distribution to other stores in their area besides CBC and Crafted.

I've seen them at Gordon's in Waltham. They're making their way around to other stores.

Yeah, and they haven't even been open for business for six months yet, so let's cut them a bit of slack.

We get weekly (besides this week) deliveries at The Vin Bin in Hopkinton, Southboro and Marlboro. Expecting Hair Raiser next week, and hoping for Sunday Paper

Grabbed one of the new cans of Hair Raiser today, I swear to god, it tastes like a creamsicle. So if that's your thing, go grab one.

Also, Sunday Paper is absolutely ridiculous. SUPER creamy, roasted coffee, dark chocolate. It tastes how coffee smells. This is a good thing. I'm super pumped for the barrel aged version of this, because that will be insane.

Not sure who told you that, but we have no current plans to distribute in RI. I dig the ocean state, but no beer for them yet.

Sunday Paper is a different recipe that The Business. The biggest difference is that I am now only using super fresh Valley Malts for all the dark malts. So chocolate wheat, chocolate rye, roasted barley, etc.... all from Valley Malt. The best part is that I use these grains within 8-12 days of roasting... can't get any fresher than that.

other differences is the base malts, yeast, hops, coffee, and processes. yup a totally different beer. super proud of Sunday Paper!

we have a couple cases of DEMO TAPE TEN left in the TapRoom. Honestly, we pulled them aside for our Super Bowl party and didn't drink them all... so you win, if you come here early. Will sell out today or tomorrow for sure.

I second @TheMattJones88 opinion on the new Hair Raiser. Grabbed some this past weekend. Phenominal! Smooth, juicy goodness. Will post and updated review on it soon. Things got a little hazy this past Sunday for me. This beer really ranks among the best NE-style IPAs, IMO. There must be an ungodly amount of hops in this with the flavor and nose I got... body hangs in there though despite this!
