    Columbia is a giant beer void in the state of SC, IMO...even some of the worst breweries in Greenville or Charleston are better than almost every Columbia brewery.

    @herrburgess it's simple, brew a cabbage + fermented chili (kimchi) gose, or what the fuck ever, throw in some roasted barley and put it in a barrel, you'll have an instant (one time) loyal customer in @WCKDVBZ . Where is your creativity, man?

    Hey man - just preppin' for my trip and looking back over everyone's suggestions. The Green's you spoke of... I've driven down from Charlotte to that store a couple times, just to pick up some stuff that - like you said - were "long gone elsewhere." Bought a case of Westbrook's Cap'n Skoon's Ballistic Stout there long after it had been sold out elsewhere. Cool store.

    We ate oysters and shrimp at a joint named simply The Oyster Bar. Killer food. After the show we hit the Whig for skanky feast and good beer. Great late night spot. Thanks for all the suggestions, BA-ers.may hit the food trucks at the street market that was recd, on our way out. Cheers!
