Love this song, one of their best, saw them for the first time in Flint, MI in 1994, Cypress Hill and Seven Year Bitch opened up for them.

 

Myself and a few other BAs have come to the conclusion that coffee fades like hops. I'm drinking a coffee joe bottled last week..fresh until 12/15 this year. 2 months is pushing it for that roasted coffee goodness. Just to reiterate I've had year old FBS that is still awsome but that coffee profile falls fast.

 

Without pictures it didn't happen.

 

Rage in their prime must have been awesome. They were great but you could tell they hadn't played together for awhile when I saw them. The Coup was the highlight of the festival that day.

 

Yea, it's pretty damn pricey, especially for a small bottle. I may pick up another one, because I think it will be really great with some more age on it. This bottle was ~5 months old, but I think that the brett will work some magic down the road

 

Yeah, IMO the coffee is fading, not completely gone, but not as strong when I cracked a bottle a week after the bottling date. It's still delicious and there is coffee there, but more chocolate is present now.

Maybe it's just me and my pallet. I LOVE a bold coffee flavor. I drink my daily coffee as bold and strong as can be. Give me the darkest, boldest roast you have, no cream, no sugar, and I'm ready to take on the day

Dont normally drink on weekdays but went for a long run today so I could use extra calories.

Had my first Great Lakes Oktoberfest, I'm not crazy about the style but this brew is awesome.

 

Drinking a couple of Stone IPAs on their first day in Iowa! Super fresh. Super good. Cheers!

 

Ya it was definitely one of the best shows I have ever gone too. Saw them years later at an arena and they were just as amazing, I think it was around 2000.

Even though I'm cheering for my Bears, it's a Vermont kind of night.

 

For my last full night here in Pennsylvania I grabbed a growler of Big Hop Harvest Ale by East End Brewing. This is something I'm going to miss. I'm really glad I can end my Pa vacation with this one,

Now to continue the vacation back home in La!

Edit: I've traded for 14 of these over the past 3 weeks. At first, I scoffed at drinking out of the can. Now, I love the way it hits you. I drank the past 4 out of the can, and will probably drink every one from here on out from the can.
