Man, this is some juicy juice! Even looks like juice... Aromas of dank citrus pith and rind preview lightly sweet, orchard and tropical fruit impressions wrapped in mild pine with a clenching bitterness... Plushly carbonated and soft on the tongue... A superior brew for sure...

An improvement on the half-time music, though. This guy is insanely creative and insanely talented (two insanely might equal nuts???). I listened to his stuff most of the day Friday while report writing and didn't get tired of it, then did some Blacktop Mojo listening - their cover of In Color blows the original away, in my opinion. Original has way too much of the country sing through the nose nasal twang thing they must teach somewhere in Nashville.

Double Dry Hopped Melcher Street IPA, canned 1/23/17, featuring Mosaic and Columbus hops; 7.2% abv...

More juicy juice from the streets of Boston - lots of citrus on the nose, maybe a bit of something akin to white wine, too? Followed by more of the same on the sip, with suggestions of pale melon rind and even a hint of something green, crisp and vegetal around the edges... Medium-feel and weight with ample carbonation and a subtle bittering that coats the tongue on the finish. Solid...

No pretense here, Boston is truly one of my all-time favorite bands - primarily on account of their first album and a live show matched only by Metallica and the Grateful Dead...
