Other than Funny Bone I believe it was Migratory Tentshow, Patriarchy, and Sweating Through Your Clown Paint

Also went for the first time today and have to say I really enjoyed the experience...

As others have said, 4 beers available were:

    Patriarchy
    Buried w/out Your Funnybone
    Sweating Through Your Clownpaint
    Migratory Tentshow

Dropped into Troon to grab a growler of Funnybone on my way back home from The Referend today (gotta love all these spots within 10 miles of each other). Another excellent brew from Alex!

Should prob have its own thread, but I also hit Referend after Troon. Very very interesting stuff. I have no idea how they can afford a space that big (it's huge!) and be open only two days a month with no distribution or even growler fills.

Deep pockets on these guys, I'm guessing.

Expensive beers is how probably. $6 a 5oz pour

None of our beers come in 5oz pours. They're 6-8oz (depending on degree of carbonation/height of head) in an 8oz stange glass. For reference, the bottom of the etched madeleine on the glass is the 4oz mark and the top of the madeleine marks 6oz.
The answer is: as of right now, we can't. But we're not about to force beer into false maturity, or serve a product that hasn't yet developed into something we enjoy. In the next few months, we'll have a good deal of our Berliner Messe barrel and bottle stock come into maturity, which will allow for off-site sales. That will help. It's also our number one question/request.

    Also, thanks!

And, to the topic at hand: Troon's killing it. Worked through a growler of Sweating Through Your Clown Paint yesterday and it made my life better. Keep an eye out for info from Alex on VultureFest soon. Sounds like a profoundly weird good time.

Appologize for my error. Thought I was told otherwise. Great beers either way.

What are growler full hours for Troon? Surely not until 11p like the bar right?

I'm not sure for Fridays. I think 6-9 or so. Istagram might have more info.

Sorry, meant Saturday. I'll keep looking around on social media but have found nothing so far.

Typically Saturday (and Sunday) is 12-6. There has been some variation on days when Alex is brewing though from my own personal experience.

    Fridays are usually 6-8.

Also looks like the tap list was updated yesterday. http://troonbrewing.format.com/growler-fills

Looks like I'll need to take a flotilla of growlers for tomorrow's adventure.

went for the first time today. alex (and his sister) are wonderful people. plus, he makes excellent beer. loved the stoner metal ambiance music when i got there.

brick farm tavern is very nice and relaxed, with a really awesome food menu.

looking forward to see great things from troon.

Went to Troon for first time today. I've had the beer at the tavern before. Good stuff. Buried w/o Funny bone and obligate scavenger we're both very good New England ipas. Cool to see scavenger using solely motueka and hallertau blanc. Nice change up.

The building is cool too and Alex is very nice as others have said. Looks like he has some barrel activity going on there too...

I thought about asking him what was in the barrels but then just didn't. Maybe next time.
