2016 Surly Darkness

TW Roseville was just told 20 min ago that their shipment isn't arriving today and now they aren't sure when they'll be releasing their allotment. Yikes.

 

FWIW. I talked to the beer manager at a store in Plymouth yesterday and he got 6 cases of BA, he normally gets at most 2 cases of normal, and no BA darkness last year. He was shocked.

The first day is ALWAYS a shit show for every release. As the week and weeks go on, the chase slows WAY down. DBDS was a mad rush when it came out, not it is on the shelf. From what I can tel, only the NW metro got it yesterday. Today alot of locations will get it.

 

SLP Byerlys, just grabbed my two.. $26.99 each. Couple cases left

 

Ridgedale Byerly's told me Thursday. And tw Bloomington and Chanhassen said sometime today, but they didn't know when.

 

Haskells WBL is releasing on Friday at 5:00.

 

Cracked one last night thought it was very sweet less bourbon than last yr

 

Got 4 cases total of BA. Maybe a case left with a limit of 2. They also have 16 regular Darkness out. 6 of those left.

Good score! I'd take that six of High Westified over a bomber of BA darkness every day of the week and twice on Sunday (wait...not Sunday)
