France 44 is having a 5pm release 2night 72 bottles 1pp, and Elevated(hiwatha) will also have a(2nd) late afternoon release 2day (not sure of count)

Got a bottle from Cellars Woodbury ($25.99) as well as Haskell's Woodbury ($25.99) this afternoon.

Total Wine Woodbury should be getting some tomorrow and MGM Woodbury will release theirs on Saturday.

 

Total Wine Eagan have any(BA Darkness)??

 

Someone in the other thread posted that Big Top had it just across the street so if I had to guess it would be yes. Other stores in Eagan have it as well.

 

I talked to the good people at Westside Liquor in Waite Park, and it looks like it will be in tomorrow, hopefully.

Zipp's sold out of their 2nd allocation. For those of you who were there, how funny was that troll lol!!!

 

For those that got 6ers of High Westified... I kind of hate you. You know how hard it is to get 6 bottles of this stuff?! Some of us do!

I just stopped in G-Will MG because when I called they said they had 17 6 packs of Lagunita's One hitter Series. Thinking it couldn't possibly be left over Born Yesterday I ran out the door. I get there and say I'm the guy who just called about the One Hitter Series. They hand me a 6 pack of Tubular or something... I was not impressed.

 

Is HW actually dropping again or is this just cellared stuff popping up with BA darkness releases?

 

Iowa got another round about two weeks ago with different bottling date out of Chicago location....think it was bottled mid January...

 

I got two singles on the original drop, coming home with 7 bottles today was a homerun I was not seeking or expecting to ever see again. Hopefully you find some!

 

Question, I'm confused by people talking about aging in the barrels for 3 months to make a difference bc I was under the impression that's what they did last year. Is that not true?

 

I thought last years was 3 months as well?

 

What happened?

 

They put a bunch of empties in a box with Surly tape on it when they were bringing out the BA Darkness and Hayden (I think that's his name) pretended to trip and fall and like smashed the box on the ground. Everyone kinda went silent and had a wtf moment then they proceeded to pull out the real box and tell us they were just screwing with everyone. I got a good laugh out of it.

How does the taste of this year's compare to prior years?

 

I am, unfortunately, in the cities. My dad took a horrible fall on the ice, so I don't know what happened at Westside. I did stop at total Wine in Eagan, on the way to the hospital, and didn't see any there. Never been in a TW before, and it was an interesting store, that took my mind off what's going on.
