Even as a local I feel like you need a PhD to be able to tell wtf is going on with the subways sometimes. Imagine how impossible it must be for tourists

So this isn't so bad. the D will just be stopping at Smith-9th? Better than no service at all.

That's the way I read it, but, ya know.... MTA ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I usually take the D train to F the does this mean I don't need to transfer on Saturday. Wonder if the storm will make this an easy in and out release

I'm going to be down this Saturday from MA. I'm planning on going from transmitter to other half which seems to be the G train, and fine this weekend if i understand the MTA site. I'm hoping to pick up some bottles/growlers of stouts, but since some IPA cans are getting released should i avoid opening time? Any suggestions on times to arrive to avoid the IPA crowd?

11:30-12 would be the earliest I'd recommend if you want to have no or minimal line.

^not sure if they will fill it but I have heard Other half uses a pressure filler or something like that so it may not be necessary to buy any fancy if your worried about carbonation (I always forget to bring my growler to other half so I probably shouldn't be answering)

I highly doubt if OH fills that growler. Mouth of that growler looks bigger than the standard growler.

Also, what the point of that growler? How long are we planning to keep that 64oz of beer around?

I've basically stopped filling 64oz growlers since I can never finish them in time before they go flat. I've only been using 32's because of that. I guess the idea that I would be able to keep 64 oz around a little longer intrigues me as opposed to going for that last pint that's lost all carbonation.

my cousin has one of these, they are pretty cool b/c they keep like a mini keg as long as they are filled right. You can keep the beer for quite a bit longer and have a mini draft for yourself. That being said, OH prob cant fill it as the top is too wide for the counter pressure system the use at the brewery

Just invest in this. Works perfectly with OH growlers and many others.

growltap fits on the 1-1/4 thread (aka normal) growler threads. it costs 45 bucks. and it fits with the other half requirements cause its just a normal growler.

question for the regulars... have plans to be in Bay Ridge on Sunday and see OH is less than 15mins away... I was thinking of popping in between 12-1 on Sunday and see if there were any cans available... What are the odds there are any cans (of any beers) for sale at that point in time?
