I saw 21st Amendments Blah Blah IPA, and on the box, they list the IBUs, ABV and a .0528 Wetness Factor...What am I supposed to do with that? I think I can figure out what it means, but I've never seen it listed before.

Google search pretty much returns many Bla Bla sightings. It,s BS, but they're getting their marketing money's worth on this thread.

I would be willing to bet that P.T. Barnum would approve of this 'marketing strategy' by 21st Amendment.

    Cheers!

Maybe it's condensed and you have to add water like those cans of frozen orange juice.

It's like Rogue's "Free range coastal water" Since their brewery is right on the coast I suppose it means water that everyone else has had a chance to pee in first

    :grinning:
Personally I don't think anything below a .06 wetness factor is worth seeking out. Actually I don't even know if a higher number is supposed to be better or worse.

If you have to ask about the "wetness factor," then you really need get out more often.

There is a double entendre at work; one physiological, often associated with arousal...the other is drug related (see the film Training Day or consult Urban Dictionary).

    Get Wise.
