Just came back from work. Was reassured of my job security since not even a blizzard will stop people from going to the ER, sadly even for non serious things sometimes!!
Now relaxing and enjoying all the free flow of the snow around me.
Hopefully it will all be over when I go back later tonight, only to return in a day!

Something to keep warm post-blizzard:

 

Good morning virtual barflies! I awoke with some post 5k aches and decided a quality brew would have the same effect as pain relievers and probably damage the liver just the same. Let's face it, beer is more fun!

What wasn't fun was this infected bottle of regular Bourbon County dated11/05/15 that was part of the recall. I pulled it from a box in the basement and put it in the fridge around a month ago. My first really nasty bottle of regular that I had to drain pour. I'm guessing it's probably from not being refrigerated since purchase as the ones I did were fine even up until a year old? It's probably time to start trying the others that weren't stored cold to see if they're bad as well? At least it wasn't a total loss as I received my check from Goose that I promptly gave back to them!

This is more like it! It's tasting quite smooth with bourbon and oak in the finish. I think a whirlpool is on the menu as well later after tending to some minor household chores. Have yourselves whatever kind of week you want. The choice is up to you.

 

Taking the day off and getting ready to go play outside with my crew, before the wind picks up and blows 40 to 50 miles per hour. Good storm, far from Earth shattering at all.

 

Good morning and Happy Monday, BA’s ! The Lingenbrau household and The Ridge had a wonderful Sunday, and hope all of you did as well. Every day is filled with anxiety and anticipation for the arrival of our new buddy lately, but until that happens I guess there's time for another Glass of the Day Awards!

GotD: It always pleases the Staff to acknowledge a dedicated and wonderful advocate with a GotD. Today, I'd like to say cheers and congrats to the one and only @Barracudas for this wonderful “Cheers” hurricane glass .
2nd: @LockeNess33 keeps coming at ya lately, this time with an awesome and proper de Garde lambic/gueze pint glass.
3rd: And with the bronze, @thebeers for this well used Sunday Morning Stout tub that got some love even into the afternoon!

Honorable mentions go out to, again, @LockeNess33 for this Irish mug with some nice wishes, and to @dcotom for a clean, elegant, and helluva thick stemmed glass for this Berliner!

This is my first time having this one and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Cheers!

 

I'd like to say that I'm drinking something other than the OB Hotbox Coffee Porter. But I can't. I have a problem. I may need an intervention. But not really...don't try to take this beer away. It's too good.

 

"Only" about a foot of snow here. Snow removal accomplished and I'm mimicking @tolar111 with my snow bank shot.
