I dont think they have said a date, but did say it wouldn't be until after 2.0 opened (this past week) - and given that they said Citra high will be poured at Huna day - I would assume we will see Citra High sometime in March, but thats totally a guess

Hop JuJu is arriving in Cincy. Jungle Jim's and Cappy's both had it as of yesterday

Anybody know where I can pickup singles of Platforms 12beers sour series in Columbus? Looking for tang life but also past releases too if they are still around

I think it's a safe assumption that they will brew it soon if they are pouring at Huna day. They haven't had Citra High for months, so I doubt they'd send an old keg down.

The brewery at 2.0 seems to be far off from opening though. It was a huge mess when I was in there last Tuesday.

Also east side Cleveland, 1/30 bottle dates for a beer released 2/8. Think it's old.

They've been bottling it since the week before last. A 2-week old IPA is still a very fresh beer (I know you were kidding about it being "old", but I'm sure someone will complain).

    Man, 1/30???? That's ridiculous. We're local for Pete's Sake!

Had juju four hours old last year from the brewery. Wasn't impressed. Same brew from the case a week later was great as expected. Needs a little time for the ingredients to party before consumption.

I agree, most beers continue to get better before they turn for the worse.

The beers I brew, IPA's in particular, have an interesting flavor curve. I can go grain to glass in two weeks and that is not the best that IPA will taste. I find that 4-6 weeks is peak from the brew date when the hops, malt and every other aspect just seem "right" and aroma and flavors just hit maximum complexity. I expect JuJu will continue to condition to a peak a few weeks from now honestly. As of now, my day old bottle and even the fresh draft I had seem to lack "something", even as good as it is already. Perhaps it's still a bit "green". Excited to see how it is in the next week or two.

Find the same trend with all the NE IPA's too... I picked up six cans of Julius from TH in which my very last can, two months later, tasted the best out of the bunch. Same with many Hoof beers and many other "hyper-fresh" IPA's.

Was pretty happy to see the display at giant eagle of hop juju today. Picked up 2 4pks whole shopping for dinner. So many great local options I don't havery to "hunt" for beer again till kbs hits. Hope that doesn't change from the past. Founders has been putting out mediocre barrel aged beers beyond the kbs/CBS releases. When you have the last three barrel aged releases sitting next to each other on the shelf it's not a good look for the brand.

I forgot the name of that one. My appologies. I however am not a fan of that particular style but I give it props for being a high quality offering of said style.

Did I miss anymore? No one gonna throw in how all day ipa is a great golf beer? (It is)

I don't know who to blame, but why when I go to buy founders all day its always 3 months old? Best I ever see is a month old. But yes, all day is a great beer for outdoor activities.
