Great visit to Black Acre Brewing. Some great beers on tap all week as a part of their 5th Anniversary festivities.

"Its Not Local" Pale Ale with Passion Fruit and Mango



A phenomenal "Party Wolf" Pale Ale with pineapple, coconut and lime zest.



Really enjoyed hearing Bill Walton call the Pacers-Cavs game last night. Loved it when he quoted "Jack Straw" at one point.

 

First up mediocre at best

New beer Thursday, Brasserie de Rochefort Trappistes Rochefort 6, 7.5% ABV, 18 IBU. Pours thin and brown, with a 3 finger white foamy head, leaves almost no lacing. Nose is lightly fruity, taste is bready, slight cherry and hops, with a slight bitter close. Mouthfeel is OK, overall just meh.

 

At 4 she is almost a bigger wise ass than you. She is the devil, but damn cute Iagree with you on that brother.

 

Other Half Hop Showers. My 1st beer in almost 2 weeks since getting the flu at either (Three's, Finback or Other Half). Those Brooklyn Breweries brew some good beers but a lot of germs floating around out there in the borough. Cheers!!!!

 

Here's a toast to one of our little guinea pig buddies who passed away yesterday- here's to Bruno, the sweet and gentle one. I always made sure to tell him he was my favorite, too, and I think he understood .
