New to Ohio (2017)

Hi-Wire Brewing out of Asheville is going to start distributing throughout Ohio in then next couple weeks, including all year-rounds, seasonal, specialty and sours. Roll-out events happening through March 3rd.

Anyone ever have anything from them?

 

I once had a coffee milk stout from them via bruisinales.com that i liked. Now if they can convince their fellow Asheville brethren Wicked Weed to follow suit!

 

Was expecting JuJu to be in today but was told maybe not until next week . . . Something to do with the bottles. Anybody know about this ?

I love when people direct their complaints to the Willoughby event page, like it's their fault that their beer is in high demand.

 

The only issue with Hop Juju bottles is that they go down too easily.

 

Which is frankly ridiculous. Willoughby's past 2 releases have been about as smooth as possible. Let me know another limited release where you can get everything and have lunch with your wife + 2 toddlers and its not a burden on anyone.

 

The last release was probably the smoothest of any event I've been to. I really liked the program idea.

Just brew more of the beer everyone wants would be my only complaint but I also recognize the space limitations and business model that needs to be accounted for.

Yep. The BA Smasher release was super impressive.

 

Yeah, can't really make that complaint when they are such a small operation. Always gonna be somebody pissed off when it comes to craft beer.

 

I really enjoyed the last nutsmasher release (not the ba release the one before that). Me and my wife got to have a lunch date and I got to enjoy some awesome beers. They lay it out really nicely.

 

They really do. The BA was just as smooth as the release you're referencing, IMO.

 

I'm saying my shop gets Fat Heads distro on Fridays . . . They were told there is some sort of bottling issue. Again ???

 

I think he was looking for what area you are referring to. It's all over Cleveland.
