    Movie day! Just finished Bad Moms, now time for Sully, The Shallows after that. Drinking a Founders Imperial Stout, and damn, is this a beautiful looking beer.

    Remember when there were actual dials on phones? lol :rolling_eyes: *ancient times* ...Remember going cordless for the first time? It felt so freeing... *slightly less ancient times* :stuck_out_tongue:

    Pouring this DIPA from Trillium...

    Brewed with chardonnay and Gewürztraminer juice, which is the juice from a wine grape varietal used primarily in white wines...

    1/31 canning, 8.5% abv - the sweet spot for a double - brewed in that popular New England style... Trillium really nails it again. Lots of light, pale fruits on the nose, embellished with ethereal notes of white wine and wood... The flavors are on-point, acidity of sour grape, sweetness of orchard fruits, and citrus pith bitterness... Plush and round on the tongue, with an airiness o'er the palate; amply carbonated and creamy smooth - super-elegant DIPA... Thankful I've got another in the fridge, cuz ths one's already half done and its been incredible.

    Great way to cap off breakfast before I do some "spring" cleaning... Brushing up my PMJ playlist to accompany my efforts, and no doubt following this beer with another...

    Opening windows, opening beers; and music to my ears... cheers... :wink:

    Not as much vanilla as I was hoping for...more coffee forward if anything. Still a very solid beer, but just not what I was expecting.
