Nah I'm good, thanks for the suggestion though. My way achieved the desired resolution. Looks like newmoney is stuck with an old timer another year. . .

So crying like a 3yr old in a public department store achieved the desired result....

    Makes sense.

No, but voicing my concerns in a respectable way without using insulting or pejorative language did. YMMV.

So 12 more bottles of Mocha Wednesday. I lost count how many we have been able to purchase this month but pretty sure it falls somewhere between "enough to last a few years - enough to kill you off". Hehehe

I can handle the shorter allocation windows this year (even though I would prefer an extra week for more reviews to roll in). However, I really dislike the fact that new bottles are now being added/dropped on random days throughout the week (e.g. Turo earlier this week). It bothers me less when these are second-chance sales, but I really don't like it when it's the first crack.

The issue isn't giving fair warning when allocations are about to close (they have been doing that), it's just that it used to be so much easier to have a sense of allocation deadlines, so you didn't NEED to be constantly thinking about whether you were missing something, checking emails, putting extra reminders on calendars on Tuesday or Wednesday, etc.

Is there a benefit to the members of having a more haphazard release schedule for random releases, rather than sticking to a typical allocation window Monday-Friday (or something consistent), so we can plan accordingly?

Haven't cracked one open yet, but all my buddies are saying this year's MW is the best ever. Was wondering what you guys thought. I already have 7 bottles. Don't mind getting more.

I solo a Hoarders, but never hit the limit so I let a few friends tag along on my orders. And usually, I send them the emails with the all-in-price (shipping, tax, discount), which takes a few minutes for me to calculate/format. Not a big deal, but way easier to handle when it's once a month.

That said, it's way down on my list of complaints. I really need the order/shipped history to come back, and smaller format bottles would make me very, very happy.

Yep. These quotes seem to check out as respectable and not childish or insulting....

Too many people seem to think that being a society member means you're entitled to have the Bruery do what is most convenient for you; when in reality, it just means you're one of hundreds, if not thousands, of people that can afford the luxury of buying well made/experimental beer.

Just because you spend "thousands" with them doesn't mean you are any more important than the rest of us. Follow the terms you agreed to and you won't get any backlash here for "voicing your concerns in a respectable way."

It's just beer. It's not that serious.

    @BruerJoel Is 2017 Melange 3 pasteurized?

I kinda of hop not because 13' and 14' have aged so good!

I thought the company line was that pasteurization should not effect aging since beers with high ABV rarely have productive "good" microbes and the change that occurs overtime is more inorganic chemical change. (lots of words in that sentence that may or may not have been used correctly...)

Backlash away. I'm kinda ZFG when it comes to the opinions of people I don't care about simultaneous with me achieving my desired results.

We did not utilize our flash pasteurizer on this beer.

The irony is that most people probably GZF that the Bruery wouldn't accommodate you. But at least you found a way to get your beer. That alone deserves a cheers!
