Haven't seen a post on #1589 in a few hours, good time to start a new WBAYDN thread! Just got back in from a few days in Seattle. Had to crack this hazy, citrusy, floral IPA from Reuben's. Swung by the brewery just before we headed back and lucked out on a new release!

While I was in Seattle, got to enjoy quite a few good beers. Holy Mountain Casked Collapsed Earth, with grapefruit zest and dry hopped with Ella hops.

Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Got restocked on new beers yesterday, so I am good to go for a while. Got a few errands to run this morning, then laundry and work later on. Pretty normal Sunday agenda. Need to send out a trade tomorrow.

Fantastic again this year! Flavors of mango, melon, peach, pineapple, berry, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate malts of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and toasted biscuit; with herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness; with a nice balanced finish of sticky/resinous hops and creamy/bready malt character in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Very drinkable. Very juicy on hops, especially in the aromas; with a sizable malty backbone that is not overly sweet or heavy at all. Need to buy a full pack of this for sure, just grabbed a random single last week.

Amazing DIPA as always. Haven't had this in months. Bright hop flavors of lemon, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel, light pepper, and pine hops; with light honey, bready malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine resin/spicy bitterness. Balanced sticky/resinous hops and grainy malts in the mouthfeel. Increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Highly drinkable and pretty crisp finishing. One of my top favorite DIPAs when it is fresh, just wish fresh packs were easier to find more often. Seems to only be every 6 months or so around here. Nicely dry and very juicy on hop characteristics.

Outstanding quad! Glad these are year round and 4 packs now. Flavors of raisin, plum, fig, date, lightly tart cherry, apple, pepper, clove, brown sugar, brown bread, toffee, vanilla, toasted oak, bourbon, coconut, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast/oak spice and light fruit tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-full bodied Creamy/grainy with slight slick/syrupy notes in the mouthfeel; but still ending nicely crisp and drying from carbonation. Awesome barrel balance, with great well rounded complexity from yeast and malts. Very smooth sipping, mildly warming 11.9%. I really should buy a full 4 pack soon. Great price. Hoping to see Sixth Glass 4 packs around here soon as well.

Fantastic batch this year! Definitely feels like an improvement over the bomber version in 2015. Flavors of big dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, vanilla, rye whiskey, toasted oak, light charred malt. Hint of coconut. Fair amount of roasted coffee bitterness and rye whiskey/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium-full body and very creamy/silky, with a touch of sticky/chalky roast/barrel notes in the mouthfeel. Slightly drying. Never boozy, mildly warming for 12.2%. Glad I was able to get 2 6 packs, still have plenty left. The price was just too good to pass up again.

Good morning BAs! Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Odd beer - cherry and bourbon and maple syrup. Not bad, not good, just odd.

I've been searching for this one for awhile and finally got one in a trade. Really like the base beer and this didn't disappoint.

Unseasonably warm weather last week has me thinking about my golf game. Going to the indoor driving range today.

Drinking this while prepping breakfast on a fine Sunday when I don't have to go anywhere all day.

I played a song by this band on my last post, but I had no idea the lead singer was the twin brother of tonight's Oscar nominee Michael Shannon until I watched this video.

    Happy Sunday morning BAs,

A quiet Sunday morning with a good beer is my happy place. Having the last Other Half brew from a recent trade, Dancing Green Diamonds. Canned on 2/6 so a little over 2 weeks on it. It is bright and fresh. It has Galaxy in it sooooo I am enamored with this one already! Happy Sunday BAs

    Cheers
