What beer are you drinking now? #1591

It's good, not as full flavored as a Parabola or maybe Sucaba or Stickee Monkee though. I'd put it above Helldorado. The abv on Bravo is 13.2% btw.

Keep trying, there might be a second drop or some leftover at the warehouse that a store gets a second round of. It seems like at least here it didn't sell quite as fast since the cases have more bottles and I think because it is a brown ale. I was happy I was able to get 2 and I know of more stores in the area that haven't even got it yet, though I don't think I'll be buying more. If I do it would be one more bottle to age. I've yet to have Stickee Monkee or Sucaba so I hope I can get those this year, and a couple Parabolas since I think when I had that last year it was a little too fresh. I'd like to try it with a year or so on it. I've got a Velvet Merkin waiting to try too.

Edit: Oops forgot no Sucaba this year. Hopefully next year... Or maybe I can get my hands on a past vintage.

First pour....can I see why this market gets all ape shit over this one? Yes. But it's a one-and-done for me....too expensive and too thin for my taste. Still a very well regarded brew no doubt! Love the vanilla. If I had a better mouthfeel and ABV I would chase this thing like I do BCS every year.

Good representation of the west coast style. Not over the top hoppy, mild piney bitterness. First can impression is I like it more than its "little brother" Makatea, but I have a couple more of each to keep comparing.
