Everything I've ever had foodwise has been fantastic. The smoked wings were some if the best I've ever had, and the pork belly tacos are fantastic, though the tortillas are a bit greasy in a bad way.

Food totally blew me away when I was there.

Had the Floydivision 4 on draft recently, thought it was brewed with Gummi bears or Swedish fish...was really odd. I spent forever trying to learn more about it, surprised to finally find it was just hop experimentation...? Is this for real, nothing outside of base beer ingredients added?

I could be wrong, but I think all of the Floydivisions are all just experimental hop IPAs. Now, I don't know if that means there is a different hop in each release, or if it is just changing the recipe. I've only had 3, I believe, and I remember one of them tasting very much like pineapple, the others didn't have it. But again, I don't think there are any adjuncts afaik.

Getting a little weird that BA Behemoth hasn't been release, no?

Barrels are a tricky thing. Maybe this batch is bad and they scrapped it?

Nah. Who am I kidding? They'd bottle that shit and call it grumpy puppy and have people lining up around the block to pay $40 to drain pour it.

Or maybe they were planning on releasing multiple variants this year and their coriander shipment is delayed.

I think you are correct. 5 different hops for 5 different beers. I've had 1, 2, 3, and 4. And yes 4 tasted like bubblegum

I can only guess how Sicario Pina went down:
1-Hey this saison isn't very good, why don't we add some Brett to it?
2-Still not good, what if we stuck it in a Muscatel Barrel?
3-Wow, this still isn't working, what if we dumped some pineapple juice into it?
4- This is getting expensive, let's just bottle it and release it as is

lol I see where you're going with this, I sometimes think this is what happens to bad IPA experiments, and I know of a few instances where some beers, like a Christmas Ale by a brewer near me for example, went sour accidentally, and were then sold under a different name or poured in the taproom as some unique, "exclusive" sour!

However, many saisons start with brett, and I'm guessing since they used the Muscat in DL (and it wasn't exactly a great result imo), they probably had some leftover barrels or are using the same barrels while they have them. I'm guessing they were expensive to acquire.

Where'd you read the details about these? Their social media is quiet and untappd doesn't have a description other than Saison for Molten mirrors and Pale ale for Sicario Pina

Thanks. Yeah the biggest indictment that these may be questionable would be when was the last time FFF sold a BA beer for under $25. Have they ever?

There have been a few. Crack the Skye which was released in December was $15. Tiberian Inquisitor was $18 I think and Horny for Blood was $25.

Crack the Skye was not barrel aged. The coffee in it was barrel aged by Dark Matter and very good.

    Tiberian Inquisitor was a mess.

Horny for Blood was $25 and delicious. But I specifically mentioned below $25 (specifically because of this one. I think Kill Your Boss was the same price point and pretty enjoyable also.
