what happened to the comment someone made earlier that "the managers at CT said no bottle shares this year for beer week"

 

It's been brought up in other threads and on individual brewery's socia-media pages -- in fact, Coppertail just posted a note on its Instagram feed this afternoon -- that they're not allowing bottles shares during TBBW this year.

I'm not saying it'd be you or your group but I'm reiterating the heads-up here because, given the BA crowd's tendency to bitch about every slight (real or perceived), I could see the post-TBBW comments about how some tasting-room staff was a bunch of dicks because they didn't allow a share ... when that shouldn't have been a surprise.

 

Thought CT was not allowing shares?!

Good luck with any CCB, Coppertail or Angry Chair shares, they have all been pretty upfront with that not happening this year.

 

I'm coming up from Wednesday bringing with me some heavyweight J Wakefield beers and some other heavy hitters and classics. Looking to attend a couple of shares at hotels, AirBNB's, locals, etc.

 

I'll be staying at the ghetto cheap ass HoJo close to CCB and will have some goodies with me if it comes to hotel drinking.

Thanks guys for the heads up. I had not seen the comments, was off BA for a little while. I will see what i can find out from my group, and we will try and find some other location, maybe hotel, although we are all pretty spread out. I am staying at the Tahitian with a couple of friends.

 

2 years ago, we sat and drank by the pool there, the garbage can required 2 trips!

So the shares info has been rather quiet this year. I'm coming up with a dozen or so bottles of mixed hype levels. Looking to join a smaller share and a couple of larger hotel pool shares. Anyone have any details on where they're happening?
