I think they still have some winter variety packs too. I'll probably keep buying the variety packs and the Cup A Joe until they are gone, both are excellent.

Pretty f'n cool, eh? Who says craft can't go in the $1 beer basket? If anything, maybe this will force hardcore domestic drinkers to try something new. Irish Red is da bomb, too.

Also grabbed my Irish Red at D&W in the dollar bin, and snagged Chief Hopper at Toms in East Lansing.

If Short's is going to start targeting the macro market a little more aggressively, maybe we'll start seeing cases of Vintage Premium in stores? Local's and Bellaire are already pretty competitively priced, and it sounds like Irish Red is set to compete for Killian's customers.

I hope we see Vintage Premium in stores because I only go to Shanty a few times a year and I can never bring enough back. It also doesn't help that my dad, who is normally a miller/pbr guy, drinks half of it.

I am seeing a lot of Locals around Chicago lately. In fact the local pub I go to has it on tap

If shorts distributed the cases of vintage premium it would really set them apart... that'd be a heck of a smart move. Especially at big box stores like Meijer.

Just picked up my 6 of Cats Pajamas at wine barrel. They also have all kinds of new beer from all corners of MI. I can't keep up any more/even remotely like I used to on new craft stuff... always something new and different. Im wonder more and more why I have basically a brewery in my spare bedroom if I keep spending $$ on beer from shorts... Oh and I'm getting a new sixth barrel this weekend too to replace my edmund fitz. Shorts space rock may be on tap soon here.... Research and experimentation.. ! Thats it... thats gotta be it.. haha.

VPL can't hit stores unless we can get the price down to compete with BMC.

Bummer. Well I guess Locals will remain my canned beer of coice for summer yard work and golf. That is until Nicie comes out.

Thats a let down. Hmmm.. Yeah .. @ ~ 17.99+dep a 24 pack would be not very profitable thats for sure.

It does occasionally pop up on tap. I've kicked myself because I missed it twice, once in downtown Farmington and last summer at a Traverse City Beach Bums game.

I literally just bought a 1/6 barrel of 51k tonight (1/31/17 pkg date) ... one of my all time fav IPAs! Murray project is bomb also! I passed on the space rock as it was kegged in sept 16. and I'm a fan of a fresh 3 month or less IPA/Pale if Im buying it in big quantity..usually takes me 2ish months to kick it. (not many of my friends drink my never ending MI beer perhaps I need new friends)

Cracked a Cat's Pajamas, and whoever wrote the description on the release page that it was a love child of Freedom and Anni deserves an award. It really does have the excellent bits of each. Packs a bit of a punch, too.

And a six pack was 16.99, in line with expectations based on Meijer's pricing
