With spring fever in full swing, looks like my skis might be put away for the season and time to get back brewing! Got at least two, maybe three beers I'm looking to brew in March. I've got a starter of Anchor yeast (1272) that is ready for this weekend for a big IPA with Azacca & Mosaic hops. Then have a German Pils scheduled next followed by what I hope will be a saison with Tonsmeire's/Bootleg Bio blend.

    What's on your calendar?

Just finished brewing 10 gallons of experimental kettle sours. 10 min boils for each. 5 gallons is a brett/sage Berliner that will get some pineapple in secondary. The other 5 gal is a key lime gose with us-05. 1 oz cascade for each batch. Grain bill was 50/50 Pils/white wheat for both and they ended up at 1.044. We'll see where they finish!

I'm in the process of closing on my first home! I haven't brewed in a month, so I'm looking forward to moving next week and brewing a Barleywine, Wee Heavy and a saison.

After a month of no brewing it is time to get to work. Doing a one gallon all Brett blonde, adding WLP 650 to a saison, and plan on brewing a citra/equinox APA.

Version 2.0 on a NE style IPA. Just need a few tweaks and I got it.

I'm looking to get an Altbier going for spring/summer consumption. Also in the works are a crisp Kolsch and a 'Grand Cru' Witbier with 3463 for the same purpose, haven't decided whether or not to do both? I also got a Belgian Golden going for mid to late fall that is smelling delicious!

As we speak, a NEIPA using LIII instead of Giga (and 3 lb of Red X with Mosaic/Citra/Galaxy 2:1:1)

My LHBS has Red X for pretty cheap. Have you used it before? I'm tempted to grab some for a hoppy Amber

Just got the brewery going again in the new house. IPA and stout kegged, 40 liters of helles lagering away and a hefeweizen open fermenting. Coming up is a belgian dubbel on tart cherries, traditional bock and a mosaic hoppy red.

Hitting off the early spring with a hoppy brown ale and kettle soured pineapple session IPA.

Check out Stone's Pataskala amber IPA. Showcases red x quite nicely

Yes, usually @ 80-90% of the maltbill, but this time only 24% as I used 12% oatmeal and the Red X due to low d-power will only convert itself.

Haven't brewed yet this year, gonna brew a juicy bits clone and a simple pils at the same time.

Just picked up ingredients and got a starter going for a lower gravity KBS type brew. I'm calling it KBS Lite. Basically a stout with oats, chocolate, and coffee aged in a bourbon barrel. Looking for something around 7.5 %abv. Going to keg and Let it sit all summer, should be good to go in the fall.

Would love to see a pic of this to see how red it looks with the 1318 cloudiness!

I don't do pixs for the internet (for religious reasons : )) , but I can tell you it was an iridescent orange/red going into the fermenter.

Brewed up two more 5 gal batches of single-hopped NEIPAs on Wednesday. Mosaic & Belma. Love Mosaic so I'm really antsy for these to finish fermenting!

Brew buddy coming over tomorrow; going to brew another NEIPA and also a Stout. Going to brew 5gal of that and maybe try doing a couple of different secondary transfers onto bourbon-soaked oak, vanilla/coffee, etc.

Does Short's distribute where you are? If so then I highly suggest seeking out their 'good humans ale' for inspiration. Delish!
