Kane Brewing (March 2017)

Wasn't bad at all before. Head high is gone as the other guy said. Christian Patrick was still there though. Only had 3 people in front of me for cans/bottles. Nobody got more than 4-4pks so hopefully it will last for the weekend for everyone.

 

Let's all remember this is going to be coming out constantly from now on. Seems like it'll be like Carton with Boat and 077XX.

 

Um it was overhead and sneak box in the post. Who cares if head high is gone? I'm confused? (Well except those looking for head high )

 

The one women in front of me was there specifically to get head high for someone and had no idea they were out. I was there last Saturday and they seemed to have a good amount left. I was surprised it was gone today. I planned on getting a 4pk myself.

 

Their FB post listed all 3 cans available so I figured I'd report back. And yes I was going to get some Head High as well as other 2 cans.

 

It wasn't until this week that I realized how many stouts I've had in the past 3 months... were pretty much BBA... My point being, it's made me appreciate non-BBA stouts much, much more and realize that two of my new favorites have been in New Jersey. That Cherry Chocolate Stout from Conclave was KILLER and Christian Patrick was worth getting out of my stout funk for.

Christian Patrick is excellent and has no alcohol heat. Just a great stout. And sneakbox cans are tasting as good as I remember draft tasting.

 

Just swung by Kane. As of 1pm they still have Sneakbox and Overheard cans but no Head High. Also no line which was nice. Picked up Vengeful Heart to try also.

 

Apparently Christian Patrick sold out.

 

They posted yesterday that they sold out. I was there about 2 and there weren't many left.

 

Glad I grabbed a bottle on Friday then... that thing is absolutely delicious.

 

Had my first taste of Christian Patrick tonight. Great beer. Really nice to have a straight forward stout with no adjuncts..

 

When is Sunday Brunch released? Isn't it typically around this time of the year?

 

Was June last year iirc

 

September 2015 I believe and then June 2016 I think is right, so who knows the next time

 

Kane doesnt really seem to have a schedule. With the exception of Fall Saints and Malus
