I'm most jealous of missing out is, is that the artwork on the can was pretty damn cool.

I don't think that selling the stuff out was ever an issue as to why places do it in person. As it stands, BL will have to have someone checking people's order at a table all weekend. Given, they were going to have that employee there anyway since it's the first weekend of the GS/RS pick ups, but the biggest thing that probably keeps them doing the typical line up and get it all done with in two-three hours than have the pick up window is exactly that.

That, and it'll hopefully kill off the trend quicker. People won't want them anymore when there is a Blue Moon Hazy IPA sitting on the shelves at Albertsons.

You wont want those things from the shelf. They have almost zero shelf life. All that hop haze, protein particulate breaks down very quickly and is not shelf stable, especially when not kept cold.

People are always claiming that Monkish HazePA's are "drinking amazing" two months after release.

Completely disagree that they don't have a shelf life. I especially like Monkish cans about a week or two from release. The biggest irony is that most have traded theirs away by the time it's tasting fantastic.

Done poorly, it doesn't last long. But Monkish is cranking out some fine grade A, haze.

Going to have to agree that Monkish's IPAs at least have been holding up exceptionally well.

How's it looking right now? Crazy packed or just heavy traffic?

Wondering if I should come today

Just left a few minutes ago, took about 2 mins to get a pour of both, it's packed in there but they also have a booth in the back to get pours also. Both beers are great. Shoutout to the blonde lady who always does the bottle pickup station , super friendly and welcoming.

Line to the men's restroom longer than line for pours. Felt like I was in the twilight zone. The states are tasting great and up up ain't too shabby either.

Some wasted woman pissed in the janitors closet right next to the bathrooms because the line was taking too long. SMH.

Well come on... the bathroom remodel should be pushed to the forefront of any expansion they are doing. Two bathrooms for every beer fiend that goes there? Inexcusable. Vote Quimby.

How packed is it right now? I'm about to head over and want to prepare myself.

Oh the bathroom situation has always been an issue but that's really sloppy. It's not like she didn't know the place was packed. Be proactive if you know the line is long and head to the bathroom a few minutes early.

Heard some people were getting rowdy and got kicked out too.

I just stopped by for a pour and to pick up bottles. Bottle pick up was really easy and the extra pour station in the back definitely helped.

    Reaction is really good.

Packed or not packed, a POS is still a POS. I'd ban her faster than the dude that was dicking around with tank valves.

    Did someone...touch the tanks?

In any case, there was a line before opening — which kind of flabbergasted me but whatever. Once inside it was an easy enough process to grab some pours.

The Up Up was mighty tasty. How it stacks up to the haze from that other place I don't know since I have not been back there in a while.

Reaction State was superb and I definitely consider it the better tasting beer than Ground State.
