I keep telling you go for the X-Hop beer with lactose, not the X-lax beer with hops though...

As someone who is eagerly awaiting opening, the only thing I can suggest is less BA'ing, and More Brewing.

 

Dude, that's BS. You can't start lining up before it even is built.

 

What?!? Then why the hell have I been camped out like a bum over the last week!?

 

If I were them, I'd set up a couple gallon home brew kit there and start auctioning off the finished batches. I'm sure someone would pay a couple hundred bucks. Can't get much rarer.

 

Saw a post from Shaun yesterday on Untappd. He made a comment on one of his check-ins (Waldos' Special Ale) that he's about to start brewing again in 6-7 weeks. Not sure if that was in reference to personal/test batches at his new place or a full commercial batch. I'd probably guess the prior, but in either case that tells me progress is being made and he's getting closer.

I suppose that means we better start forming a line now.

 

God, I hope we get 5 or 6 more "better start waiting in line now" jokes before this joint opens.

Those are infinitely better than the one about the name change due to them merging with the graham cracker and marshmallow company.

 

I would also guess the former. From talking to the guys at Ardmore, they will have a full kitchen and that part is just taking time.

Looks like a strip mall...please tell me it isn't in a strip mall.

 

Given the fermenter names, I would suspect at least two of those tanks are from Arcade Brewing who went under last year when Ale Syndicate did. Unless these are just really common fermenter names in the Chicago area... Interesting to see that equipment getting back out there.
