Yeah, I'm not too worried. I will enjoy either way, just a "wish list". And I will be checking out as many of the other local breweries as I can.

I have not been to Troegs. And will do, thanks!

Growing up just south of Austin I miss that area. Make sure to hit up Franklin's as well one morning. East 1st Grocery is close by too, one of the best beer stores in the area.

Nice. I think as a craft beer drinker, you will enjoy it. My fiancée doesn't drink beer and couldn't care less about doing a brewery tour, but she enjoyed it. You'll sample about 5 beers (unfortuantely, we had all the regular offerings although I've read that people have had some off their rare/limited offerings). Hope you enjoy it.

Last year I went pretty heavy on Cycle Brewing, Wicked Weed, and Crooked Stave. I tried A LOT of new beers from each and even visited all three places. This year I'd really like to dive into Casey and Treehouse. So I'm going to put a trip to both at the top of my list.

Tree House being able to meet their demand... I live right down the road and can still hardly get beer with all these out-of- towners, its getting ridiculous.

I'm definately going that way, and I have been. I still love a well crafted IPA , but I'm getting pretty picky on these. But great Lagers and Pils I could take more choices here.

I really want a double-thick Speedway variant.. I love that beer, and all of the different variations, but I always feel like it's too thin.. I want a double Speedway that pours and drinks like Zhukov!!

I'd like for an NC brewery other than Burial (because of distro) to make a good readily available NE style IPA

Federal law demanding all breweries have a "brewed on" date on their bottles/cans

My wish is for more brewers to participate directly on BA forums. Brewers making great beer is obviously the number one thing, but I have really been fascinated and excited by the professionals in the industry who take time to post here. I've learned a lot that way, and it's a great opportunity for us in the BA community to ask questions and vote on what we are hoping for in the future.

I want a give a shout-out to some of the active brewer-posters that we have on the Mountain Forum these days (this is not an exhaustive list): @dauss , @flyone , @rscot231 ,@CerebralBrewing , @Tarheel4985

And I always appreciate the feedback on BeerTalk forums from @sierranevadabill and @Sixpoint

Right now, all I ask for is to try some brews from Trillium, Tree House, Hill Farmstead, and 3 brews from Central Waters.

    Cheers!

My wishes involve travel. I'd like to make it to the new Alchemist brewery, Jack's Abby and to Portland Maine (alla dem breweries!). That's the attainable part. The other involves going to Germany to visit Schlenkerla, Rothaus and Ayinger. A bit more of a pipe dream given my current lack of funds. Wish me luck!

My wishes (some of these are kinda weird...you've been warned):

    • Sierra Nevada Ayinger collaboration (Weihenstephan would be cool, too)
    • Sam Adams Double Bock 6 packs (the original recipe before it became a 9% abv mess)
    • the return of some retro brands like Haffenreffer's Private Stock, Rheingold
    • 6 packs of Pabst's Old Tankard (4 cans is not enough)
    • 40oz. bottles of Narraganett Lager
    • DFH Liquor de Malt (I missed out on this one years ago)
    • Mixed 12 packs of retired Magic Hat styles (Jinx, Roxy Rolles, Howl, etc.)
    • Jack's Abby in New Jersey (if it's in PA already, why not cross the river?)

That's all I got for now....

How about, bottled on or canned on. Lagers or BA stuff is sometimes weeks or months before bottling.

Very easy, more of the same. Fresh and local. Night Shift, yes. Jacks Abby now canning IPA's out of the springdale/barrel/ sour project building. Nice. What ever I see on the shelves.

Agreed. Can't think of anyone who wouldn't disagree with this.

Also, more importantly, please tell me that your username is from Dash Rendar's sidekick on Shadows of the Empire!
