Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Canton might be a little bit of a drive for you but I just left Maria's Deli and they have both Chief Hopper and Publican Porter for $11.99.

Just picked up a 6 of publican and chief hopper they have both on display @ marias liquor store cherry hill and haggerty in canton !! 11.99ea. Really cool place never been. Will be back thats for sure.

 

No luck with publican or chief hopper thus far, but found cat's pajamas which I had high expectations for... And damn did it deliver. Freedom of 78 is one of my favorite beers and i honestly like this more. It truly is the Cat's meow!

 

Ok so Publican Porter is pretty much the best porter Ive ever had.. Trumps edmund fitzgerald even for me personally .. so good. Plenty of roast, chocolate, coffee like bitterness and acidity.. brown sugar and Carmel.. vanillin..medium malt sweetness.. Not astringent.. not cloying.. very enjoyable... Exquisite ! ! !

 

Chief Hopper tasting very similar to Superluid. And that's a very good thing.

 

Not sure what day they get deliveries but Bitter Pops emailed me back and said they would have Cat's PJs this week. Heads up to the Chicago group here.

from the comments here it sounds like I need to find some Publican Porter as well! it sounds fantastic.

 

Definitely seek out Publican. Between that, Pontius (in the variety pack), Curl, and Woodmaster there's a few old friends that haven't been bottled in a while that need to be sought out.

 

Publican is drinking fantastic, I remember it being good, but it is possibly the best porter I've had.

 

Finally got my sixer of Cats Pajamas. Another great offering from Shorts. If you liked Freedom of 78' you'll like this one too.

Hopper and Publican seem to be all over GR now and in good quantity. Just grabbed a sixer of each. Both priced at 11.99/6

It's a great time to be a Short's fan! The store I was just in had good quantities of Hopper, Publican, Uncle Steves, Cat's Pajamas, and Hopstache. The new variety pack is on shelves around town, and my local grocery store has a stack of cases of Irish Red. And Goodnight Bodacious is on deck!!!

 

Bourbon Carrot is always on topic. Also, just had a Gleaner Bock for the first time and it's pretty tight. Feels perfect for this time of year.

 

Just got back from the shorts take over (sorta) at World of beer canton. Had the London Fog and they had Chocolate wheat on nitro so I got one of those too !
