Funny how I agree but thought about it in reverse... the SMS added a little sweetness and added a little more body to the spiced Xocoveza. We'll call it the reciprocal property of verschmelzung. Cheers!

(side note: I don't recall the chopped peanut topped Reeses PBC)

What a great picture. It looks like it captures his personality.
We have three dogs, all 13 years old: yellow lab, black lab, and a golden retriever. I really think there's something special about a lab.
    Cheers!

The eternal conundrum....what to do with leftover beer that a neighbor brought over....

It's not bad, for what it is

It's 6 degrees here with a windchill of -9. I'm hunkering down inside and sticking with stouts today.

It actually tastes pretty good. The hops are cascade and they are vivid! I love them. Spicier than I have seen on most beers. I am going to review it tomorrow. My appearance score I can already tell you 2.5.

Glad this is in cans now. It's an outstanding IPA, but I'm not willing to buy it at $9 for a 32 oz Boston round.

I seek this one out every winter if I find myself within its distribution footprint.

That is his ashes underneith the beer. Retrievers are awesome. Our Bassett Hounds Boomer's personality is pretty special.

I've been enjoying this quite a bit. Session IPA isn't really a style I love, but I've been really enjoying this one.

Inspired by your post, I decided to pop one of my last batch. Let's see, brewed Jan 13th, in bottles about 3 weeks later in early February. So this is about 5 weeks after bottling (after that longer than expected 3 weeks fermentation).

This beer actually had a nice little DIPA sweet citrus note as I poured it. Still not the greatest nose, but a little better than the last time I posted. Still a little more spicy bitter than I'd like - at the expense of floral or fruity I was hoping. It is funny how an extra week of "conditioning" (in the fridge) has appeared to have cleaned it up, not as much "cloth bitterness" as last time I posted this. On the negative side, a barely noticeable and unexpected hint of butter in the nose.

I partly posted this to let @utopiajane know one of the things I've learned from various nice home brewers on this site is to be patient. This beer was still fairly hazy to almost cloudy about 3 weeks ago, for instance. It might not come out with the reflections, but this is decently clear now. Cheers!
