How many empty Growlers do you have?

I have probably 8-10. I keep one howler in each car just in case. The rest just gather dust on the bottom beer storage shelf.

I keep one from each brewery I visit or trade for, the plan is to eventually build a shelf around the ceiling of my gameroom/entertainment to display them. My state doesn't do growlers at the brewery but we do have growler shops so I keep a few of those to refill. The total now is only 11.

 

I chucked a bunch, but I kept a HF, have one Foothills, one from the Beer Den.

Two grumblers (half-growlers). I had one in my SUV which I ended up having towed to the shop on Friday, and then on Saturday there was a beer I wanted to try so had to get another since the other is at the shop yet. Oh well, I'll get my deposit back.

 

3 32 ounce growlers.

I use them whenever I go to a brewery and want a growler fill. From a practical/efficient perspective, that's 1 more growler than I need, but hit up a brewery once and didn't have a growler on hand so just bought another one so that I could go home with a specific beer.

 

I have a love hate relationship with growlers. I love them because I can get beer that has sold out or something in cans, but I hate them because they're non-refundable and in Maine you must use a brewery branded growler. I must have like 30 32oz growlers in the garage because I can't reuse them because they're from Vermont or Massachusetts or a brewery I seldom visit. Drives me nuts.

 

All of them is right but I'd fill them all with BOMB! if I could get it. Or Bourbon Barrel Temptress, Uncle Jacob's Stout, Tweak, Ska Mole, TenFidy...

I've got about 20-ish growlers, plus maybe a half dozen squealers empty, plus a couple full ones.
Here in Massachusetts we have the rule that the brewery can only fill their own, so I've accumulated a bunch from a few breweries when I go spur of the moment and don't have one with me (I should figure out exactly what I have and return a bunch of spares)
Plus I have a few from breweries that don't exist anymore, and more from ones that are far enough away that I don't get there often.

 

Some growlers are a piece of art. TRVE has one off metal art on theirs, totally worth grabbing.

 

6. They sit on top of my kitchen cabinets, which have a foot and a half of space between them and the ceiling. I'd love to fill the entire cabinet top with growlers.

 

Nowadays, zero. The most I ever had was three at one time, but I kept those in the trunk of my car and one day my car was stolen and the growlers along with it.

Side note ... When my car was eventually recovered there was a half consumed bottle of Corona in the cup holder, so I doubt my growlers ever got used again except for maybe target practice.
