Enough of this talk of long lines, rare beers, and mules.

What I want to know is, what beers do you routinely have in your refrigerator? I'm thinking four packs or six packs of 12 ounce bottles, pretty widely available in Washington and Oregon. Seasonals count, if they are regularly available (Deschutes Red Chair for me). Preferably at ordinary prices, although if you regularly drink Burton Baton or Ten Fidy, I would admire both your taste and your pocketbook.

I'm not looking to start arguments over which beers are best, just see what you buy for home consumption when you're not at the many fine breweries around here.

My list: Deschutes Obsidian Stout (I buy more of this in a year than anything else)
    Deschutes Red Chair
    New Belgium Trippel
    Field 41
    Sucks
Tank 7 (a little harder to find, but not difficult)

As for IPAs, there are so many good ones that I skip around all the time, other than Sucks. Probably Reuben's Crikey should get a mention.

And if lived in Florida, it would be MIA's Mega Mix. What a damn fine shelf beer.

My neighborhood gas station carries Silver City Nice Day IPA, Melvin IPA and 2x4 and Top and Bottom Cutter, so usually one of those.

Kona's Hanalei IPA has moved into my grocery store shelf beer rotation.

I love that beer. Haters be damned.

The interior of my beer fridge evidently bears an uncanny resemblance to that of a number of others, particularly those who steer towards Fremont, Reuben's, Bale Breaker and Melvin for their staples. I have given all these places too much money (though they have not been undeserving of it).

Lately, with Founders now in town, their Porter and Imperial Stout, have staked out some considerable territory of their own. These are two of my absolute favorite beers, both in their styles and for any style period, and all the better for being well-priced shelf beers in a good 12oz. format. What I've so far sampled from another WA newcomer, Modern Times, leads me to believe they will be in regular rotation as well, though precisely what beers in their portfolio is a matter TBD.

Also, it semi-pains me to admit it, but there is almost always some Lagunitas in my house. They were a big part of my gateway into craft, and I still like them, merger be damned. Their seasonal and one-hitter series beers, especially, tend to be outstanding products (to my tastes, anyway) of unparalleled value.

There is almost always a 4-pack of the current Fort George seasonal IPA in the fridge. Right now it's Suicide Squeeze. Before that, it was Magnanimous followed by Overdub. In the summers of 2014 and 2016, the wife and I went through a phenomenal quantity of 3-Way IPA.

Sticky Hands is also a fairly regular guest in our fridge.

    Nothing. Not a thing.

I no longer really have a favorite beer or beers, I just check out the local nearby taplists at one of a number of nearby growler purveyors in town, and bring home whatever catches my fancy at the moment. I've always generally preferred draught beer to the bottled version anyway, and the advent of multiple tap houses with a great draft selection, most of which allow growler purchases, has allowed me to essentially have draught beer at home whenever I want it. Growler guys on SE 8th is a couple minutes from my office, and roughly 10 minutes from my house, so that's usually where I go. I honestly can't remember the last time they didn't have at least a couple of different beers on tap I wanted to bring home. I guess if I have a particular favorite, it's the Wanderlust or Bohizafa, both of which are on tap most of the time at GG's. That's probably what I tend to drink most of the time.

John's market is nearby, and periodically I'll pick up somethin from pfreim or Breakside, but that's actually pretty rare. To be honest, the thought of picking up a 4 pack or 6 pack of something to take home rarely even crosses my mind. I honestly can't remember the last time I did that (probably a 4 pack of Occidental pils or a 6 pack of High Westified).

Can someone explain Sucks to me? I don't get the appeal but get that people like it.

Fremont everything (no surprise, bias on Lush, Interurban, current Imperial for night cap)
Beers sent to me from breweries (lot so of IPAs, lots of lacto/sour beer)
Modern Times beers cuz they're fun
    Want: more Skookum/Cloudburst
Cigar City Jai Alai when I can get it fresh
Sly Fox Pilsner (when I can get it)
    Pivo
Upright random beers b/c of their dedication
I'll stop now but I'm drinking an Alesmith coffee Speedway while responding...yum
