    Good Morning and Happy Thursday BA! !
    Pretty fortunate to be able to work from home on my birthday, and took advantage of the situation by opening a beer I've wanted to try for a long time..2014 BA Vietnamese Speedway Stout..and boy was it worth the wait!!..beautiful meld of bourbon, coffee, vanilla and caramel..wowzers!!..cheers!!

    Something new this chilly post dog walk morning - Depravity, an imperial peanut butter cup stout, by Renegade Brewing Co., Denver, CO:

    Poured at 53 degrees. Sweet roast malt nose. Sweet peanut butter adjunct flavor...looks more like a porter and tastes and feels like a weaker version of something Funky Buddha would brew...somewhat more candied nuts as liquid warms...it's ok...

    Not great, but I've bought worse. I made this to try out Falconers Flight 7C's hop blend. The hops are good. This just needs more hops and non DME base. Drink well Advocates

    Bloodline, still following the Flying Dog theme I had yesterday evening.. looking up the BA rating of their brews it is not the most popular brewery around for sure. I've never been disappointed really, even though they don't compare to other world-class US beers, cheers.
