I'm pretty sure I know who your talking about, but I blocked him and I cannot remember his name... so I don't have to deal with him. I think by now we all know he's a troll and most have started ignoring him.

in all seriousness, i'm not trying to convince you of anything. i'm offering a counterpoint to your (incorrect) view in the hopes that people don't get the idea that CCB was dicking them over. of all the breweries i've dealt with, CCB has made it a point to take care of it's customers, no matter what the cost to them.

I get it, but you fail immediately when you state that my view, which again is mine, is incorrect. Lose all credibility at that point.

    Cheers though.

By any chance, is there anyone on this forum who was staying at the Marriott riverfront who got a pic of the dude swimming in the pool with his jeans after the festival?!

He was extremely obnoxious and was referred to as "jean boy"!

I had a pool view room 1 floor above and missed this....but there were better things at the pool to look at honestly.

That's probably true! This guy proceeded to yell at folks, lick people's beers, and blind half of the patrons when the sun hit his stomach! Maybe that's why you missed it!

Mic drop. How about that.... so turns out the folks with little to no beer mailed it in.

This could be my one gripe with the fest. It wasn't as bad this year I felt, but maybe I didn't care, but the breweries flipping their tables and gone by 1:30 sucked. Even those who didn't bring the highly sought after stuff solely. Good beer gets found, trust me.

I doubt CCB would fork out more to assist with beer more than they do, but as a whole I think it's a point to note on who really came to share and have a good time and those who just came to have their name on a banner.

Seriously...there were a handful of VIPs that were wandering around inside the tents. These were people that were sponsors and provided things like the discounted Uber rides (thank you Jerry Ulm Dodge). But this was an a extremely small number of people. CCB uses an event planning company now for Huna Day which is whow handled things like setting up tents, clean up, and security.

Each tent had security which were checking bands and keeping people out. That is in addition to the CCB staff and the volunteer tent captains who were tasked with keeping things orderly.

lol the defensiveness over tent security is kind of ridiculous. I wasn't going to say anything but ya'll keep dragging it out.

My old lady and I walked into and through tents multiple times, most of the time simply to get to another brewery on the other side without having to navigate through hundreds of people, sometimes just to dodge the sun. We were never once asked why we were there.

Anyone here have their bottle carriers break and lost bottles from it? I have seen several posts about it. One of my handles broke but bottles were safe. Just curious if anyone had to reach out to CCB.

I brought my bottle carriers from 2016 because I figured the cardboard might break. Thankful that I did because I saw several broken bottles of Huna around the hotel.

The easiest way to move on from something is to not let your ego feel compelled to reply to posts quoting you.

That and not coming back next year. Move on!
