Missed out again...

 

And I thought the people flying in to pick up a bottle were crazy. I might pay $50 for a bottle, and I am not sure I would spend that.

 

I didn't win either round... hoping they go for round 3 and I'll get picked then....

Almost traded my Ardea for Rarer scooop. Glad I got offered a Bramble rye shortly before accepting.

 

Is it just me, or is UP UP going way down hill already. Just open a can and looks like it has gotten darker and taste like a amber.

 

Yeah, the haze isn't as milky as it was. The taste has mellowed somewhat but I don't think it's near an amber, it still screams IPA.

I guess you really do have to drinks this as fresh as possible.

 

Was last years WoL 12pm opening every day too? Wondering how busy it will be that early on a weekday.

 

I cant wait for it to rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. I hope it dumps. Then we'll see who really wants to level up.

Last year was regular hours all week. This noon opening is really a good thing for those who can get in before traffic kicks in to effect.

As for the crowds. Around a half hour before opening there would usually be a line about 10-20 deep. I do think that this year will be handled with more efficiency since BL learns a lot from each and every release in where to put man power and since this is going to be in the warehouse space, it shouldn't be a big deal and lines squashed fairly quickly.

Also no bottle sales on day one and left overs on day two should help with it not getting to congested at any given time like last year's Sunday and Monday were.

 

Probably a canning issue, CASA had a similar issue with their first run.

 

Jeans, I'd be in flip flops and shorts, but that is because I never wear pants unless I went to work, a wedding, or a funeral.
