Which 3-4 breweries would you recommend hitting up for my stout addiction? After touring CU Boulder with the boy, it's me-time. I want to head up to Oskar Blues because I appreciate them, but would love recommendations!

Avery, Upslope, Finkel & Garf, Mountain Sun. Most of the Boulder Breweries have at least one stout and there aren't many bad ones either. Even "boring" (I'm half joking) 'ol Boulder Brewing has Shake.

Should have been here for February, its stout month and couldn't hit a place without 5 stouts on. Don't have anything else to add though, Mountain Sun from CU than off to Avery and finish at OB sounds like a solid day to me.

PS, Mountain Sun is cash only

If you're looking for stouts, Wild Woods still has their Buffalo Trace aged Black Smoke listed, get it.
At the very least they'll have their S'mores Stout which is a great session stout. They may also have their Vapor Distilling aged Black Smoke in bottles

In addition to OB and Avery, you should probably check out Backcountry Pizza. Close to campus and an option if you want to bring the family. I was there last night and they had 9-10 killer stouts including Baptista and Mokasida Speedway.

Well, he hadn't been accepted yet in February LOL. I know, I have about 3 solid months of stoutiness and then it's like looking for the pearl in the oyster for the rest of the year typically.

Holy crap Dosvidanya and Big Bad Baptista? Dear to my heart since FoBAB 2015. And a block away from where I'm staying! Definitely makes the list for sometime this weekend. Plus the Speedway and a Coconut Victory at Sea (not my favorite but I'm a sucker for coconut in a stout). Thanks!

I'd add Vindication Brewing in Gunbarrel. Their Freedom Stout is great.
