Yeah but some of us wanted to try the experimental hops and a new beer. So that's effed up they didn't change their shit so their product went nowhere and sold in an hour, BOTH of them too.

Both of them will be on draft all over the city. Both of them will be canned again. More beer will be made.

I always wonder why people don't get that these breweries are businesses. Why would they want to keep product sitting longer throughout the day when the overall goal is to sell it all. If anything, everyone should question why people still feel it necessary to go week after week and max out every time.

It has nothing to do with YOU wanting a case. It has everything to do with OH trying to please a few more customers because it was clearly not a regular batch and literally a couple thousand less cans. Because not all of us want to go to a bar and pay $10 for one pint. I don't want a case. I don't need 20+ beers worth over $100. I just want to try them, enjoy them, and see what a diff brew tastes like.

I just want to thank St. Paddy's for helping me not have to get up early and spend money today.

They don't sell out of stuff the way they used to. They want to sell out. Pretty simple concept.

The real question is why do they continue to can the west coast IPA. It's awful

Maybe you could write them a respectful letter about running a business and customer service. I'm sure the business will really take off when they're able to incorporate your ideas.

As much as some think the bigger limits mean more of the beer gets traded, it's my opinion that bigger limits help OH stay less hyped than tree house or similar operations.

I'm with you on this. I don't really see why it's messed up that they kept the limits in place. Other Half has had a case limit on their cans for almost a year now. Whether its a single batch, double batch, triple batch, small yield or large yield, it is always a case. Everyone knows this and we all play by the same rules, you want the beer get up and go get it.

It's clear to me that OH was a bit shaken after DDH MB lasted well into the week. They were clearly pushing this release real hard on instagram. The work clearly paid off along with the reduced quantity.

Yeah...it was pretty apparent from their posts that they expected DDH Mylar to sell out much quicker than it did. Hopefully it's a lesson learned: save the double/triple batches for super-hyped releases.

Kind of bummed that I missed today's release, but I guess I just didn't want it bad enough. Getting up early to drive an hour to wait in the cold for an hour or two for some beer gets old after a while.

Like I said, I didn't go today so I don't care much. Was just crazy to see that they sold out so quick. I have plenty of DDH Mylar and Citra along with others to enjoy.

If you want the beer and don't want to be standing in line at 5am for a hyped release look into paying a line sitter. If you're gonna drop 220+ on beer what's another 40 to guarantee you get the beer and get out quickly.

if OH wasn't releasing a banger every week then I'd be pissed. These are beers that have been available for a couple weeks. They posted the batch size and limits. I don't see anything they could have done differently than release small batches on a weekday night but that has it's own logistic issues. I'm sure the staff does not want to tend bar and sell cans. It's probably easier to get people to work PoS on saturday morning and then it brings in the clientele for the rest of the day.

That's not very nice. Seriously though I don't see why people on here can't express a desire to see their favorite breweries adjust limits so more customers can get their beer. The brewery is free to not listen, but I don't see why you and others need to belittle them for their opinions. It's not harming you any. I thought we all want beer with less hype and hassle.
