    going to be in fort Greene and carril gardens this week. Looking for bars with great local beer that allows kids. Was going to swing by other half on Saturday.

    Any local beers in corner stores that are on the shelf and worth getting?

    Go to Other Half, Threes, Mission Dolores, Owl Farm, and Whole Foods Gowanus. You should be set after those stops.

    After Finback it's probably worth nipping up the road to Treehouse....

    Yeah I live where the OP is visiting, own a car, and still haven't got round to visiting either place
