They should probably hire someone to walk around and breathalyze people to ensure no one over indulges. In fact, they might want to hire a security guard or off duty police for each person at the event just to make sure nobody drinks too much. That would be safest.

I wouldn't mind being a secret shopper drinker then blow my whistle at people and give them a urine cup and ask them if they are ready to drink toilet water in county should they fail the test.

But then they wouldn't have the staff available to keep a certain individual off their premises....which is obviously the higher priority.

I heard Netflix is interested in making the next continuing series documentary about him. It's called "To Catch a Beer Criminal"

To be fair, the amount of workers they have on that task is one, who is also burdened with the hard task of putting a stamp on your hand.

The simple solution is that they already posted that 1 of each stasis project per person and that gets circumvented because people get creative in just going to the other line that is offering the same stasis project beers. Responsibility should fall on the drinker to limit themselves at a pay-per-pour event.

Do you really want to have a system where Bottle Logic gives you one ticket at the gate that will be needed to give up when you order that one drink? Because then people will be bitching at that and ultimately it's a no-win situation for them.

Again, while they maintain responsibility to not serve anyone who looks drunk, that should be the extent of their responsibility. If someone decides to hoard all that rar beer and gets drunk in the process, then don't put blame on BL and that person has to own that on themselves.

A check mark on the hand with a sharpie would do the trick. Quick and painless.

They should also install cameras in the bathrooms to prevent people from putting beer in vials. Because ultimately, it's BL's responsibility, not the idiot dumbass who's not responsible enough to follow the rules. Pathetic. Take ownership for your actions. I saw the neckbeard that crashed his car and was really tempted to suggest to the officer to breathalyze. Send his ass to jail for endangering the lives of others.

ModernTimes handed out wristbands for their league welcoming party this past year. Now granted there were multiple sessions and obviously significantly less traffic, but we were then allowed to purchase 2 more pours and we would get marked on our wristband. It didn't matter if you were drinking the 2 pours or splitting 1 ticket each for a buddy and yourself...2 more and you were done.

And I get that the responsibility should definitely fall on the drinker, I really do....but there comes a time when a brewery could and should intervene, not saying they 100% half to, but c'mon...who here hasn't taken away keys from a friend before, or called an uber/lyft for someone?

I also don't mind if a drunk gets into a fatal traffic collision where they were the only casualty...one less person in front of me to get a pint. And yes, I am heartless at times.

They should give everyone at the door a torch and snuff it after they've had their stasis pour.

Or make them input the Konami code on an arcade machine on the way out, and if they can't do it, a trap door opens up under them and slides them into BL's own private drunk tank guarded by ex-commandos from the Russian interior ministry.

The best solutions are the simplest ones.

Its 1 pour at a time guys. Not 1 pour total. I had 4 pours of FS today.

Not a proponent of drinking and driving by any means but just wanted to clarify that there aren't any limits on stasis beers posted by bottle logic anywhere. Their instagram post states one of each stasis beer per person at a time which I read to mean per transaction. So you can have as many as you want per their rules, just have to wait in line again for each subsequent pour.

I agree that they should not be serving those that are obviously hammered but preventing people from getting more than one pour of their stasis beers each day is not on their agenda as far as I can tell.

Edit: what sponger said above (spent too much time typing on my phone...)

well, until they go to the bathroom and scrub it off after they fill their 2oz vial of whatever rar whale they're about to take home and razzle off... but check mark would not be enough.

But yeah, total agreement, it's their own fault for not strip searching folks leaving to make sure they don't have any liquid on them.....

Ultimately, Bottle Logic's limitation ends at just not serving someone who looks like they're drunk. It's the responsibility of the drinker to know their own limits and not get that way, or if they do, which they have every right to, to know that they are responsible for their means of getting home.

Really stretching it here when it comes to trying to ask even more of Bottle Logic when the whole WoL is being run as best as possibly it could be.

WTF? You guys seriously think they need to keep track of ALL the people who come get pours? At some point people need start blaming the ******s that don't know their limit or who want to brag about how many pours they got. Maybe that would be a valid argument if this was a regular day at the brewery.

Its all about risk management. You can't prevent every risk, you can only mitigate as much as you can. No matter what they do to prevent this, it will be because of 1% of the idiots that show up to these things. While inconveniencing the 99% of people who are following the rules.

If you know your friend is getting plastered, why not step in yourself?

You know why this permit restricts minors from entering? Because the Gov. Knows that at these festivals it is very hard for the organizer to keep minors from stealing sips of beer and keeping dumb ass adults from giving minors some alcohol. So guess what, no minors allowed.

Dumb birds crying about not being able to bring their kids. Bet money they're not trying to take their kids to the club.

Neither of the drivers involved in the accident near the brewery had taken part in our event today. While rattled, both drivers will be ok.

FYI, lines are moderate. Nothing hectic. Parking is more of a bitch than anything. All beers are still flowing.
