With the exception of a Big Hugs release, I find Half Acre parking to be easy. Hutchinson has free spots even on Friday release days during all hours. But I agree, getting there from the suburbs can be rough on a Friday any time at all in terms of commute time.

While I don't find parking SUPER easy, I meant traffic up Lincoln, more than parking (especially around Irving Park).

I used to go up Lincoln as well, but Google now directs me elsewhere every time, and traffic seems much better (although I'm not sure how much faster it really is).

On another note, I saw Mikerphone is brewing Lunches, Brunches, Interviews - was that one NE style? I couldn't tell from the IG picture.

Don't think I've seen this posted yet. Corridor is getting into the game. The beer is called A Picture of Nectar. Bonus points for the Phish reference. [IMG]

What Bowzer said. I liked Corridor and would love an NE-related reason to walk over. :grinning:

If you guys can walk over, it sounds like you should be the ones going to try it and tell us how it is!

Note...I can walk there as well, but am apparently just as lazy/unmotivated. I have some free time this weekend, so maybe I'll try to pop over to check it out.

Time is one issue (guys, I've got laundry, Zelda AND Mass Effect to worry about), the other issue is that I don't actually need any more beer currently.

Are they doing crowlers of it?

I live 5 minutes from Penrose and work downtown (Loop-Sears Tower). Would be happy to grab some Penrose for you anytime you like.

I think they do crowlers of all their beers.

    I don't think he's there.
that same photo was posted to their instagram and facebook.

I might actually take the CTA up there this evening after work.
    If so, I'll report back.

In my defense, FB is blocked at work, so I couldn't see the image to begin with.

That is very interesting, Tighthead released a NE style IPA with the same name, different spelling (pitcher) a few ago also

A Picture of Nectar is solid. Really great yeast flavor, perfect level of bitterness, great mouthfeel, and a very pleasant alcohol bite. It's just really lacking in the hop department. Very little hop aroma and flavor.

Did Transient change the recipe for The Juice is Loose? It's still a good DIPA, but on this latest batch I have zero haze and a lot more malt.
