I just learned of this brewery through a Facebook ad yesterday that looked enticing. Looks like they brew crazy hazy IPAs and saisons. Sounds good to me. I might have time to check them out if I go to Suarez and Sloop this summer.

Yeah...I know this feeling. I feel like I was instrumental in hyping up Upstate Brewing on BA, and now, they've become a hype brewery and I have a harder time than ever getting their IPAs.

New update on their Facebook page confirming opening at the end of the month along with pictures of the new space. Looks very, very nice.

Does anyone know what Sixtels of MC^2 typically run? a place by me put it on tap but they want $18 for a 32oz, seems astronomical to me

I think that their stuff is relatively expensive. I also have not seen many places that would do a growler fill at all.

The bottle shop nearby me was doing fills on MC^2 and Photon over the weekend. My friend works at the shop and shared a crowler with us after leaving work. I don't remember the exact price since I didn't pay for it, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't as high as $18.

Place by you sounds shady. I paid $8 for 32oz of Vuglar Display of Flower at my local shop. And another local bar has had MMM...Osa numerous times at like $10 for a 32oz fill. So it's definitely not Equilibrium charging those prices.

Think I paid $20 for 32 oz of MC2 in the city. Sigh

Yup, same here, I think it was like $18 at Milk and Hops. $8 for a 32oz sounds incredible low though.

Man $20 for a 32 oz pour is like Beer Table level prices.

Yeah Milk and Hops can be pricey, they want $21 for a 32 oz of King Wavy.

To be fair that's only $1 more expensive than from the brewery.

It's $20 for 32oz. which is highway robbery (love their beers though).

Still looking forward to stopping in this summer but at that price I wouldn't be taking anything home...

Oh it's my favorite brewery to visit so far in the Hudson. Cool space, simple standup bar, and very laid back. Bartenders/brewers are all great and friendly. The beers are also incredible.

They've just added a crowler so I'm hoping the prices are a little more reasonable.

Back to Equilibrium. Everything I've had from them has been top notch. They definitely have their own style down and I really need to check out their brewery. Might have to make it out for the opening.

We are beyond excited to announce that we will open the taproom to the public tomorrow, Saturday March 25th, for growler fills and on-site pours. Our sister restaurant, Equilibrium Grille, will also be open with a limited menu (please contact the Grille for any questions regarding food). Growler fills will be available from 12 pm – 6 pm, and on-site pours will be available from 12 pm until the Grille closes (evening).

The Grill and Taproom will be open every day at 11:30. Sun-wed until 10PM and Th-Sat until midnight.

Departures from Equilibrium are known as fluctuations. To celebrate the opening of the taproom, we are releasing our most intensely hopped and citra forward DIPA to date, which is appropriately named Fluctuation (pictured). It pours a very hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and lychee with an undercurrent of sorbet and cream. Fluctuation tastes highly resinous and tropical with an assertive yet soft bitterness. We consider this fluctuation to be perfectly unbalanced.

We will fill two growler sizes: 1) Large = 64oz/2L and; 2) Small = 32oz/750ml. On-site pours will be 14 oz except for ales below 5% ABV, which will be 16 oz pours. We will assess limits on growler fills as needed. There are no limits for on-site consumption.

The following beers will be available priced at the following sizes:
(Large Growler) / (Small Growler) / (On-site pour)

    Photon $14 / $7 / $6
    Mmm Osa $14 / $7 / $6
    Fractal Citra $16 /$8/$6
    MC^2 (best batch to date) $20 / $10 / $7
    Fluctuation $22 / $11 / $8
Casey (limited quantity) NA / NA / $7

We will also have 750 ml bottles of Casey for sale ($10 each) and limited bottles of Casey and TABA Apricots and Peaches for on-site consumption ($15 and $22, respectively).

Guest beers for on-site consumption will be added soon.

Note: We will not fill dirty or clear growlers as either degrades the quality of the beer and the drinking experience.
