RAM is really looking to retain their spot atop of the suburban beer race after losing all star starting brewer Shaun. Shaun recently moved his talents down south and RAM promises big things with assistant to head brewer Justin stepping into big shoes.

Justin and the brewery look to come out of the gate swinging this weekend with their newest release. Only time will tell if the neckbeards embrace the change, or swallow their pride and move elsewhere as did their previous leader.

We would have also accepted the slogan: "RAM without StB: Where every day is Chaos Day."

Having a Fizzy Bubbly right now. It looks different from the picture, and definitely doesn't drink like a NE Style IPA. It's very thin and hoppy, like a regular IPA

It's a good brew, but I won't be taking him any crowlers of it

Yeah I meant "good" would be a victory. Personally, I think they should not try to re-release old Shaun beers just because that's a can't win proposition if they're any lesser.

Is Justin the one who brewed sharks with laser beams? I remember cracking them for the super bowl and everyone was really disappointed with both crowlers I bought.

Justin's first time at the plate is not looking good. Maybe he can pour some orange juice into his next batch. There's talks he will be sent to the minors.

    Isn't The Ram the minors?

After some of the trades I've seen for Side Note beers, I would say no.

Based on the whole baseball analogy you've got going, it seems like Shaun got called up to the majors after a string of great minor league performances. Also, the one dude who ever made anything sought out from there is now gone and it sounds like everyone is going to stop caring about The Ram. Sounds like the minor leagues to me.

To switch sports analogies, RAM was Davidson and Shaun is Steph Curry

Got a growler filled at lunch. Haven't tried it yet but @ $9.00 a growler fill I'll take my chances.

Hmm, now I'm thinking that I was over-charged at the bar as well. $13.44 seems high for a pint and a half....unless it was $8/pint

Wasn't this beer already released a month or so ago? A bunch of people checked it in back in February on Untappd (including a friend of mine). Or was that just a base stout without all the adjuncts added?
