So I'm an imperial stout/RIS guy and really love them when they're on the sweeter and fruitier side and less moreso than char/bakers chocolate forward.

Non barrel aged I consider darkness near perfect, and barrel aged I love the chewy dark fruit aspects of regular bcbs. Conversely I'm less a fan of abyss, or storm king, or the yeti's.

What big stouts do you guys consider forward of the raisen, plum, and dark fruit aspect?

That's more of a European thing. Look to try Courage or Samuel Smith's, or even Baltic Porters like Sinebrychoff or Zywiec.

Bell's Russian imperial stout I highly recommend. I also like all of Samuel Smith's ales. I like the flavor profile of BCBS.

Founders Imperial Stout has some plum notes with a little char/smoke. Boulevard Dark Truth stout is also pretty fruity with the Belgian yeast. That beer is getting retired soon though, but it is still on the shelves until their new barrel-aged imperial stout comes out later this year. I usually get some dark fruit notes in a lot of stouts that don't have a ton of coffee or chocolate added. Russian Imperial stouts would be good to look into I think. Old Rasputin is a good one too.

Blackout Stout is pretty raisin/date-y to me.

I agree about Expedition and FIS. Another one I like is Wild Onion Brewing's Drago.

I'm sipping a Legend of the Liquid Brain from Bull & Bush. Its pretty fruit forward. I get a lot of raisin from it, it goes well with the bourbon flavors.

It's weird that I never see cherry mentioned. Lot of the good Imperial stouts taste a lot like cherries to me (in a good way). So, if by dark fruit you mean cherry, I would say the following fit the bill: Lagunitas Imperial Stout, Bell's Expedition, BCBS, Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, Samuel Smith Imperial Stout, etc

Evil Twin - Even More Jesus.

Very thick, very berry-forward, very malted, very bodacious. It was sassy in its attempt to test my Stout loving mettle. It was too sassy, and I had to put it down!

[To be honest, I thought my bomber might be bad. The almost sour berry flavors were so strong, they overpowered the malts and any other flavors trying to be recognized. Sassy!]

Pick up some dark truth while you still can, it's getting discontinued and has a lot of dark fruit flavored.

Seek out some Prairie brews or Black Xantus from Humboldt.
Weyerbacher Tiny also comes to mind.

I had a Lost Abbey Serpent's Stout on draft last weekend, and it was like a rich, fruity espresso. Delicious.

Sounds like it might have been off. I drink this one from cans regularly and I've never got any sour or fruit from it.

Eclipse 20 Elijah James barrel, IMO the best BA Stout I've ever had.

Evil Twin Li'l B is listed as a Porter but it is def. in stout territory for thickness and is full of dried fruit and chocolate flavors and is a decadent treat that is now more easily available in smaller size containers. Other of their stouts also have this fruit character, one of the reasons I enjoy them so much.
