    Good afternoon, BAs! Checking out Bastone in Royal Oak, MI for the first time. While I await pomme frittes with roasted garlic mayo and chicken and waffles, the wife and I are enjoying a tripel (Nectar des Dieux) and a dubbel (Dubbel Vision). Both are quite enjoyable! [​IMG]

    I've been getting a lot of mixed reactions to the fact that I recently rated Very Green -6.8 below the rDev. These reactions are coming from people I know personally, and locally. Get over yourselves. The Hunter keeps it real. I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid, so to speak. All that said, when's the last time a 4.37 rating was considered bad? I'd say I enjoyed it very much. End of my rant. Time for an IPA.

    I need Miskatonic to win the local beer brackets so, I have been having a few of these. And it is delicious, bonus. Nothing mind blowing, just easy drinking with a hint of rye flavor.

    Speaking of local, how about Styx? They recorded a couple of albums nearish to me, Pumpkin Studios, in the 70's.
    Repeatedly playing The Grand Illusion, Cornerstone, and Pieces of Eight caused me to buy additional copies (thank you paper route). Paper route? What the hell is that?
