Having the option to have a Russian River anything at the ballpark is pretty freaking awesome!

    Cheers!

There is a stand in centerfield that sells $18 bombers (which they pour in a cup for you). A bomber of Arrogant Bastard is awesome to enjoy during a game!

I'm a Cubs fan (who lives in STL!) and we're heading to AT&T for 2 of the three in August, including Metallica Night! \m/ We're sitting in the bleachers for both games.

You've listed some great beers but I drink them all... regularly! As a beer traveler, I'm looking for unique. Blind Pig @ PH is unique.

Is it realistic to go all the way to PH from bleachers and not miss more than a half inning? Other "unique" options that haven't been mentioned?

    Cubs Woo!

I am glad that better options are available but a ball game on a hot Aug day is about the only time the AAL doesn't bother me.

    But if RR avail......

Actually given so much good stuff in N.C. .....

At Skydome (Toronto), the best of the beer selections last year were:
    Hockley Dark
    Mill Street West Coast IPA
    Mill Street Tankhouse
    Mill Street Organic
    Goose Island IPA
    Goose Island Honkers
    Shocktop

    Goes way downhill after that

You will miss a full inning or more most likely.

I dunno, it's ok, considering.. But when Sofie and Matilda are $12/12 oz. bottle, yeah, I have no problem passing.. I never buy more than a drink or maybe two tops at the game.. I just can't justify it.

There are 2 Goose Island portable stands that seem to move around. $12 for a 22 oz Matilda is the least marked up beer in the stadium.

Not a regular Braves attendee but Terrapin will have a taproom and brew lab just outside the new stadium, will carry some of regular rotation and a place to create experimental batches. Sounds like they will be the main craft option inside the park (probably along with many Miller/Coors products).

I was drinking 10 dollar drafts of Old Style during the World Series at Wrigley and enjoyed every minute of it.

Fenway is pushing the 16oz can this year, but will most likely still have Sam BL/ssnl, AB (Goose/BP), and Harpoon draft lines. Keep an eye out for Wachusett Green Monsta/Blueberry, Sierra Pale, NBB Fat Tire, Magic #9, and my personal fave of the group, Smuttynose Finestkind, all in 16oz cans. I know last year they had Harpoon IPA and Wannamango cans too, and those will probably return. Jack's Abby had a kiosk in the park selling 16oz cans as well, but never missed an inning to find what section they were in. The cans listed above normally are not at your regular concession stands, but specific beer kiosks where it was just a guy and the fridge full of beer.

The White Sox announced some new beer partnerships for this year per the Chicago Tribune (article text copied and pasted due to paywalls):

The on field team might suck, but at least you can drink a decent beer while watching it. Go Phillies!

I hate to say it but.... I expect you might be doubly disappointed this year from a baseball perspective.:slight_frown:

    I hope that I am wrong here.:flushed:

    Cheers!

To me drinking a cold Yuengling while watching the Phillies is perfect, so unless that isn't there anymore, I'll be happy. Nostalgia tastes better than hype ....

As for the on field product, I'd be happy to see them flirt with .500 and get some of that Lehigh valley iron pig lineup some MLB playing time!

My beer of choice at Citizens Bank Park while watching the Phillies is Sly Fox Pikeland Pils.

There is plenty of Yuengling Lager in the Park.

    Cheers!

I went to a Steelers game last year to see my 49ers get pounded and I will say, I very much enjoyed the Yuengling tall boys to drown my sorrows in.

AT&T park has an amazing selection if you count Public House and since you can take beers into the stadium from public house I would count them.

I would love for Yankee Stadium to STEP THEIR GAME UP! Although I hear there should be some Southern Tier beers this year, which i'd be very happy with.

    Craft beers available:
Goose Island Beer Co. Honker's Ale
    Blue Moon Belgian White
Goose Island Beer Co. 312 Urban Wheat
