Royal Park in N. Royalton. Why?

 

Market District, Lizard, and even Fisher's seems to pretty consistently have BB Dark App now, at least Akron/Canton areas.

 

I've recently begun to see it become a shelf beer in Cincinnati too, and I dont think that is a bad thing at all. They don't stay on the shelves TOO long.

 

We produced roughly 900 cases of it this year. That is a lot of beer. Probably will keep it around that number if/when demand increases.

 

It's been a while since I've been to either (I don't live in Cinci) but I'd imagine Jungle Jim's & Party Source should have some too.

 

I don't think they get JO in Kentucky, don't recall seeing it at least.

Jungle Jim's gets it, but the good stuff usually flys off the shelf.

 

We sprinkle a little into the 4 counties across the Ohio. Jungle is your best bet though.

 

So I saw Dynamo Fuzz listed for this next release @beace. Is Dynamo Hum not too far behind?
I know I told you that we still had a '12 Hum sitting in waiting for our 5 year anniversary this year, buuuuut that got put on hold, we just found out that Dazara is 9 weeks pregnant. So yeah.

 

I'd love to know a tally of how many times you've asked Brad in this thread about Dynamo Hum. Gotta be double digits, right?

For real, though, congrats on the upcoming addition.

 

It's sitting on fruit right now. It will hit before the end of the year.

 

Easily I just love Dynamo Hum, and the wife loves it even more. Like seriously, she drinks beer because of that beer. I told her about sours after having some of the sours at a release that she didn't go to. She said she wanted to try a sour the next release we went to. Lo and behold, Dynamo was on at that next release, and she tried it. Stole my whole pour of it. She was like "You have to buy bottles of this!" So I did. Bought 3 that day. Drank one the next day, drank one on our 3rd anniversary in 2015, and was going to drink the last one in May for our 5 year anniversary.

 

Oh, and thanks for the congrats. It's much appreciated. It'll be nice to have a brewing assistant other than my wife

** April Bottle Release Updates **
6 Days and counting until old-school uptown bottle release!! Calendar pages will be released Friday 4/14 at the BrewPub Uptown at 4pm.

If you have not joined us for an "old school" bottle release before, calendar pages are picked up Friday and - THESE ARE YOUR SPOTS IN LINE - for the bottle release on Saturday morning.

At 9 am on Saturday, April 15th - we will open the doors to both of our Uptown locations to welcome everyone in for breakfast and beers. The bottle sale will then begin at 11 am when we start by calling "January 1st" and so on...

There will be a plethora of tasty drafts ready for everyone to enjoy all day/night both Friday and Saturday in all 3 locations. Draft lists will be released on Wednesday.

Hockhocking | 6.5% abv
$17.99 - 500ml, 6btls pp/pd
This is a beautiful beer created to celebrate a great music festival that happens in Nelsonville OH right outside of the town of Athens. Nelsonville Music Festival asked us to create a special one-off bottle help promote the upcoming music fest. A blend of 3 different barrel aged saisons comes together in a stunning combination of Oak, wheat, funk, and acid. This beer will see bistro throughout the state.

Chiron's Flame | 11.1% abv
$11.99 - 375ml, 6btls pp/pd
Chiron's Flame is an imperial red that was aged in bourbon barrels for 16 months. A rich barleywine style ale that exhibits strong notes of caramel, dark sweet cherry, and vanilla. One of our favorite small batch barrel aged releases so far this year.

Brewpub Bottles Released - Saturday 4/15

We are releasing 5 special bottles from the Jackie O's Brewpub & Public House on Saturday 4/15. located at 22 West Union St. There are roughly 30 cases of each bottle.

Blackberry Berliner | 6% abv // $10 - 375ml, 1btl pp**

Blackberry Berliner was a full batch that was fermented with over a lb/gallon of blackberry puree. It spent many months going through a secondary fermentation with our proprietary Berliner culture. We also have a few barrels filled with this!

Orange Cranberry Berliner | 5.2%abv // $10 btl 375ml, 1btl pp**

We took our beloved Berliner Weisse and bottled up one the
favorite treatments. Orange zest, real cranberries, and ginger were added during a secondary fermentation/infusion period.

Hive Five Reserve | 5.6% abv // $15 btl 375ml, 1btl pp**

Hive Five is the brewpub honey saison. Brewed with local wildflower and fermented clean with classic saison yeast. After primary fermentation the beer moves into oak barrels where it goes through a slow secondary ferment with our house sour cultures. Dry, tart, nice oak character, with a nice honey undercurrent.

Dynamo Fuzz, 6.5% abv // $15 btl 375ml, 1btl pp**

Dynamo Fuzz is our barrel aged apricot and peach sour. It starts with our house favorite Kinda Fuzzy that is then placed into wine barrels. This batch was aged for 29 months in the wine barrels adding peaches during the last 6 months. I bright fruity character and a healthy amount of vibrant tartness.

Mahogany Lush, 7% abv // $15 btl 375ml, 1btl pp**

Mahogany Lush was originally released in 2009, one of our first barrel aged sour projects. Our Frambrozen, raspberry brown, is aged in wine barrels for 2 years. We add both raspberries and cherries in the final months of aging. Rich notes of tart fruit, soft caramel, and light oak make this a favorite rarity that has not been released in almost 4 years.

** - Depending on how many people attend the bottle release, there is a possibility of 2+ bottle per person. This will all be worked out during the bottle release on Saturday
