    I had 32 people enter for me and only 3 got picked. That's bullshit. All those out of staters ruining it for those of that supported them from the beginning.

    Why? So everyone that got shut out can bitch about it? How it isn't fair that out of staters won?Kane would be insane to publish anything to be honest.

    The practical side of me says this is the most fair way. But the Jersey homer in me says it should be open only to NJ. NY and DE, the local market.

    Agree to disagree. I much prefer last years method to this years as this allows people to "mule up" much more easily and at a much greater level. Also increases the chances of multiple mules getting allotments and decreases the chance of individuals getting alottments

    Feedback makes the world go round bud. If large percentage of out of state people won the lottery and then no show, maybe next year Kane does the lottery for only NJ residents. You know, the majority of people who visit and support the brewery weekend after weekend. Lots of breweries do state restrictive lotteries. No idea what Kane was thinking here.

    fwiw, I've lived in NYC for 5+ years but never changed my previous state's license. I figured I had no shot at winning as I assumed Kane would somehow weight entries so that locals had a better shot. Long story short, posting the out of state winners might be skewed since I imagine many NYCers in particular forego getting a new license

    Combined 0-13 amongst various friends and family..
    All live no more than 15 minutes from brewery...most visit 3x times per month


    No complaining just wish it was weighted toward locals/regulars
