Is Pipeworks (Chicago) available in Denver? Draft and cans/bottles?

Was just at Wynkoops this evening. I thought it was okay to good. I will try and check out GD tomorrow before flying back to the west coast.

We have quite a bit in bottles and cans, also on draft.

Are there any craft beer events at the end of April in Denver (more specifically April 19-23)? I don't know where to look for that kind of stuff.

I will be in Denver Sat-Monday (Mar 18-20). Anything beer-wise I need to keep an eye out for?

Going out to dinner near City Park tonight with time to make 1 stop beforehand. I'm debating between Cerebral and Fiction. Anyone have thoughts on which they would choose? Open to other suggestions as well.

Definitely Cerebral. Their IPA game has really stepped up in the last 6 months or so and they're doing a beer release today as well...

Come help us kick off Colorado Beer Week by by joining us for the annual release of Work From Home, our Breakfast Porter brewed with Vermont maple syrup and cold-brewed Columbian coffee roasted by Middle State and prepared by our neighbors at the Lula Rose General Store. We will also be releasing Barrel Aged Work From Home in bottles and a limited amount on draft. This beer has been slumbering in Woodford Reserve barrels for the past 12 months.

    Limit is 4 bottles/person at $14 each

Anything mentioned so far in this thread kid friendly? I'm flying with my wife and 2 boys into Denver and then driving to SLC. Looking for stuff to hit up while in Denver and along the way. Any advice is appreciated.

You realize this thread is not even a page and a half long right? You could easily read through it.

Come on, he was asking if the places mentioned were kid friendly. It's not like that was talked about in this thread.

As for the answer, you can bring your kids to any of the breweries, but I am not sure about all of them being kid friendly.

Can you link a post that mentions kid friendly breweries that is current? Because I fucking can't. Nothing in this thread mentions kid friendly, the kid friendly thread is 2 years old, and the other breweries that come up are breck vs great divide.

If you have time to be an asshole you have time to help a guy out.

You can bring your kid to any brewery. Some breweries have a lot of children and others don't. I would say as long as your child is well-behaved no one will really care.

Thanks for all the responses. Crazy how you can't ask a question on these threads without someone always being a dick. In the SW forum, someone asks about what to do in Austin almost daily and we just post a link that goes to older threads that still have good info. Any chance you have a link for the 2 year old thread you mentioned? I searched the forums before my 1st post and didn't come up with anything.

Edit: I'm personally just looking for a place with good taps and great food. Not necessarily a brewery. Thanks.

One thought on kid friendly... assuming it's not at 9-10pm on the weekend would be grandma's house on broadway. I would think it'd be perfect to bring a kid to with the number of board games, drawing utensils, and old school video games. I was there a couple months ago and really enjoyed their BA stout and felt they've been stepping up their brewing for awhile. ymmv...

If you want to go the brewery route, Mountain Sun, Blue Moon, Wynkoop, and the Denver Chophouse are really good options. The Rackhouse Pub has a brewery (Bierstadt Lagerhaus) and a cidery (C-Squared) that share its space.

If you're just looking for a restaurant with good taps, that's a giant thread on its own.

My kid loves Old Chicago pizza, and they usually have a good tap list.

Why on earth would you do that? SLC has an airport and flights in and out of there all the time.

Maybe they want a nice road trip, but aren't interested in what's between Austin and Denver?
There's actually a lot more to see comparatively between Denver to SLC and Austin to Denver, believe it or not :grinning:
