    Found these local vintage glasses and a "clear" growler from Liberty St Brewing here in Akron...they went out of business like 16 years ago....the head brewer there used to also work for Great Lakes and now is the head brewer at Thirsty Dog....small world!

    What an awesome extra he threw in our trade.
    Love the can art where the ATM machine spits out hops!! Super duper dank beer which amazes me by being very well balanced on the palate. Absolutely loaded with hops while being a soft smooth sipper. No harsh astringent flavors here. Love it!! Wow.

    At 5 weeks old, this beer is probably one of the better hoppy NE style iipas I have had this year!

    Since I am back from my overnight shift, I am digging into the spaghetti and meatballs of Indian folks: Slow stewed Chicken curry, rice and some red cabbage slaw (the slaw isn't typical Indian thing) I had made yesterday.
    And just like the Italian staple, it's better the next day.

    Mrs. Z is awake and has asked for breakfast- fresh eggs scramble for her, a Big Nose IPA for me:



    Today I got 6 "big" eggs, and 7 eggs from the small chickens...

    Hope to get some work done in one of of our storage units today...beer and protein! Cheers!

    Hola and Happy Friday everyone! I am making my second batch of English muffins. They are too easy to make and they taste exactly the same if you take the long way home with them. That means making a yeast starter and letting it ferment 12 hours. Then a slow rise overnight in the fridge.

    I really enjoy it. It's fresh. Canned 20 days ago. It's fruity, crisp with a nice pine bite at the back end. Like most carton beers they are almost always a buy for me when I see them in the liquor store fridge. Also I am always looking for low alcohol full flavor beers. This is up there with all day IPA which is one of my favorites.
